【Solaria Latin】ECHO【SynthV Cover】

Salvete! After rediscovering my passion for this dead-but-very-much-alive language, I decided to write more translyrics in Latin :D Honestly I started this mostly as a joke/experiment, but then it worked so well I decided to make the full cover. So yeah, I covered Echo for the third time on this channel. I love working with Latin because it's so flexible and still precise. I chose Solaria again because she just feels like the right choice for Latin, and I went for classical pronunciation again. More Latin covers might happen in the future, I may or may not have written translyrics for two more songs already.
A literal translation of the Latin lyrics back to English can be found in the answer to the pinned comment! Note that the lyrics are from a feminine perspective. To change that, the "picta, libera?" line and the "cum adversa sum" line would have to be adjusted.
Also, the "switching faster than the channels on tv" line obviously doesn't quite work in classical Latin, so I changed it to a line that basically translates as "flickering faster than the shadows on the screen". I had some kind of shadow play in mind, the word "velo" (from "velum") can refer to a cloth screen. I know I technically could've done some Neo-Latin thing like "Quare verto citius quam programmata televisifica?" or something but all of the options I could think of had to many syllables to make it work.
Other than that, the translation is pretty literal.
I'm a little busy these days so the opportunity to re-use the video (and most of the mixing and tuning decisions) I made for my other two Echo covers was more than welcome haha.
