I don’t think he’s mixed. This isn’t GO4 or the Öberlander supporters. He’s still a Nazi through and through, just having removed the worst excesses of the regime in order to make it actually sustainable in the long run.

@@BeyazZenc you can not "seize" wehrmacht troops when you're talking about a realistic scenario because they are in this case not hoi4 divisions but thinking humans that can make choices. That's why i said speer loses a realistic gcw

@@tenarmurk Its not hard to imagine that Speer and a.h knew about the factionalism that existed between popular figures and a.h did had undeniably full control off the Wehrmacht at that time so I would imagine speer talking to generals trying to pull them to his side and stockpiling reichs production to his own arsenal I would like to hear your thoughts.

@@BeyazZenc let's take the tno scenario and say speer is appointed successor and does his best to convince everyone - the wehrmacht is highly skeptical of a "liberal" like speer and would likely not be hugely supportive - but that's also just because gcw is forced rn new update will remove that and add a peaceful transition of power which is probably more realistic still since old tno is written by Germany haters

In reality the gang of fours ending would be the absolute best outcome for Germany as the country finally gets rid of its decadent,genocidal and tyrannical regime while dengist speer would be the most probable ending in terms of realism

@@netbotcl586 Considering that Schmidt lived to 2015 OTL, questions over not having a successor who is liberal enough for democracy may not be that much of an issue. By 2015, they are probably approaching their equivalent of the civil rights era, with the concept of states' rights being on the opposite end of the spectrum, which might make federation easier considering reactionaries can't hide behind libertarianism. While Europe will stay reactionary for a while, reactionary influence will slowly fall out of fashion in the majority of society, kind of like America from the Mexican American war onwards. I'm not sure if the ethnic demographics will help or hinder this outcome though.

Firstly, Burgundy always seems to collapse late game, at least every session for Speer in my game. Secondly, the Mediterranean couldn't realistically be drained, so they restored it back to the way it was.

@@neezduts_ There's some nuance to that. I like to thing this is like Wolfenstein but more realistic rather than a Nazi killfest. Playing as the OFN and trying to win every conflict is just really exciting. You know you can't win the Cold War, but you can try and see how many dominoes you can tip to your advantage.

I think you must favour the conservatives rather than the reformists

@@realrandiee you can favour reformist though 1962/1963 to 1970 ( but make sure watch out your regime stability )... but make sure you on conservatives/neutral in 1972, other wise... you can't overseer Schmidt Negotiation with Brandt... after that... agree abolishment of slavery and Nuremberg Law and said No to anything else

@@finns935 Coincidentally I just finished the Dengist Speer run yesterday, and I did exactly those and then the same near the end to get the right ending. It was pretty good really and I think it would have been more of a realistic outcome in general

@@realrandiee yeah man... In my game, I'm full of reformists on the Economy, Detente with USA, and Military... Had to spam that regime stability in decision and agency to make sure my government collapsed... After that, I spam conservative till slave revolt... It was hard thou.. But in the end... A thousand years of Reich will win
