The weird part is, PCB was much closer sounding to EOSD than to IN. As was PoFV to PCB. This wasn't a two year climb, it was a near-instant jump, followed by a moment of regression, before IN set the standard going forward.
it is because in EoSD ZUN used Roland SC-88Pro but in august 2001 he bought Edirol SD-90 (wich uses to this day) and all the tracks later he was making on this new sound module. On one hand, this song doesn't sound the same without the ZUNpets that were totally non present in EoSD. On the other hand, BRUH THIS TOTALLY TOOK ME BACK TO MY EOSD DAYS AND MADE ME DANCE MY ASS OFF!!!
