Sumireko's theme. ...A teenage human who would sacrifice everything to prove what she believes in, using her own body to break the barrier between Gensokyo and the outside world.
This track makes me feel deeply moved, and I’ve wanted to write it for a long time, never feeling like I could capture her vibe. With a mix of chuunibyou poeticism and youthful slang, I hope it finally manages. It focuses on what I consider her emotional climax in ULiL.
In the end, self-sacrifice was unnecessary, and she became a much more lighthearted character. I'm very glad she survived long enough to leave behind the records of her adventures for the next generation of her club, so her legacy truly does live on. Can you hear the interwoven echoes of past, present, and future?
