Hello! When "The Last Dance" popped up in my Recommendations bar, I HAD to watch, then ended up subscribing. Absolutely gorgeous. But, that wasn't all that long ago, which means I haven't been subscribed for very long or had the time to go through and watch a lot of your videos. That means that I don't know how your process works. However, one thing I noticed you did more in that video than this one was working from general to specific, most notably around the eyes. Here, you went and made one eye perfect before moving onto the other eye (or really any of the face). And I think that was a mistake. The eyes are BEAUTIFUL, don't get me wrong! I just feel like you would have been more successful in making them look alike if you had done the general to specific method like you had in your other video. Here, the eyes look to me as if they don't really belong together, even though they are each breathtaking and look alive. I just thought I should mention it --- although, again, as a newbie here I have no idea if making the eyes look different (in color, shape) was your intention or not. It's just a method that I personally find helpful in creating more realistic works than when I work on a small portion of a piece and then move on to another small piece. Since you are doing such beautiful things in art already, I wanted to make sure that you're aware of the general to specific method in case it might help you as well! Thank you so much for posting your art, and I really love the green you added in later! It makes it all pop perfectly. :) TL;DR: Your work = Awesome, only suggestion is to work general to specific to avoid the eyes looking so different in color and shape. I hope you'll continue to post your work, I think it would be fun to see how it grows and changes through the years.
