Hey guys~ So I'm not dead. I have stage 4 fibrosis sarcoma cancer, but I'm not dead yet, just letting everyone know. So don't go around going "rip" or "i'll miss you" please, it's kindaaaa a downer and pretty rude ngl. Just lemme live lmao. oh, and chances of my posting on this a lot is getting a lil smaller for the foreseeable future. just for now. I still have stuff to post tho, I just don't have the energy or time to edit and post it, sorry ^^;;~

My God. The reason I draw, the reason I use watercolours. Its all down to this video, this piece, this artist. You deserved the world, you didn't get it and it devastates me. I don't have anything uplifting to say because there isn't anything uplifiting about this. Please, please don't let her talent be forgotten. Please.

I never knew Qinni: I hadn’t followed her work closely, and I had never spoken to her, either online or in real life. But I remember discovering her on DeviantArt and being drawn to her beautiful watercolor portraits with their shining eyes and star motifs. One of my favorites among her works was a short animated film, “Night Light” (夜光). It touched me with its warmth and simplicity. Now, five years later, flipping through her DA page to pay my respects, I saw it again and it made me smile through my tears. I believe she has touched and inspired each and every one of us who has been lucky enough to cross paths with her and know her art. That, I think, is the greatest achievement an artist can have. As someone who has lost loved ones to cancer, my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to Qing Han’s family. May you have strength and find peace and courage in each other. We respect your privacy, but we are all more than willing to help should you need it. Bless you Qinni. We’re so proud of you, for what you’ve accomplished through your art and for fighting until the end. Rest in peace.

I saw on a website what she wanted us to do after her death. She told us "to keep painting the stars".

Now, she’s gained the strength to compose our galaxies all by herself. She’s adding watercoloured shades to every constellation. She’s mixing her paints using stars as her palettes, and she’s rinsing off her brushes’ bristles by dipping them within every black hole. She’s delicately illustrating every nebula, planet, and star, with great precision, love, and joy. Yet, most importantly, she is at peace. No longer will the cruel malady hurt her now. You were gone too soon, Qing. Please, take care. We love you. 🌙

It's so strange seeing this in my recommendations now. Qing, you were my friend for a couple years and I'm glad I got to know you beyond your art a bit. Thank for the laughs and silliness we had in the group. I would like to add a little something. Qing's family has not given the ok to anyone selling her art. A fan art book has been agreed apon where profits will go to cancer research but this does not include her pieces. If you see them up for sale, please do not buy them but report for art theft. Please let Qing get the rest she deserves and let her family process this in peace

Litteraly every young persons who got interested in watercolor have one day seen an artwork from Qinni. I hope she's proud of being a reference for us all and the influence she had on watercolor painting and art in general. Always in our hearts, a star shining in the sky, forever.

This painting was everywhere. Everyone knew the portrait, but not everyone knew the artist. I never knew who painted this until I found out she died. I had an obsession with galaxies so when I saw this my mind was blown. I was around 11 ish I think. I have so much appreciation for Qinni. She really was an amazing artist who inspired me to become one too. Rest In Peace, you've done well.

Multiverse theory is an amazing concept to me. I've been interested in it for years, and I believe it's true. I believe that not here, but somewhere else are other universes. Alternate timelines. That kind of thing. If I'm correct about it, then that means infinite universe's. Infinite universe's, means infinite amounts of her beautiful art. Yes I know it's kind of silly, but it really does make me happy believing that out there, she's still alive. Not here, but somewhere.

So I'll tell u a kinda weird story..this video kept popping up in my face and I was like "I don't use watercolor paints so I'll not watch it"I kept pressing on "don't recommend this to me" So yesterday I had a dream about this girl in the painting and she was crying ..I felt guilty...and I said "don't cry I wasn't doin this cuz u r not good...u r awesome but I can't paint with watercolors so I use pastels,coloured pencils instead!..I'm a noob artist I'm not that good.. so that I know that I can't draw smth like this in my whole entire life time I didn't watch it!" She just looked so sad and said "at least u r alive" I woke up I thought she was saying this bcuz she's..u know..a painting?:) But now I watched this beautiful gorgeous art..and knew the truth behind my dream...rip sis u r such a great artist

I believe this is the true meaning of art, thousands of different people, from many places of the world, in some moments, were (and will be) inspired by a single person, just showing your feelings through one or so many ways. Could be just a painting, made by someone with no pourpose, but this changed the life of so many people, made us to improve our skill, maybe try something new, or just appreciate. No one will ever know how much I miss Qinni. She's the one who inspired me to start art and I remember whenever I'd see her artworks I would just be mesmerized and slowly forget things happening around me. I just discovered this, and she's already gone? Why couldn't I have seen these wonderfull art pieces made years ago. It's kind of shocking to see her pinned comment there, and to know that in the time frame of two weeks, from when that comment was pinned till now, that she lost her battle to cancer. It's really surreal, and part of me doesn't want to believe it. I give my best wishes for her family and close friends and hope they get through the rough times.

Why is this recommended to me? It just made me sad that she’s no longer with us but her painting still makes us feel happy, I discover her not long ago and despide just been a passer by, this painting always stuck with me and one of the reason I live watercolor, I remember the first time I watch this video it inspire me to paint again and it still does, I hope she’s at peace and that company’s stop using her art for their own benefits..is sad to see this In my recommendations but glad that her spirit still alive through this videos.

I'm 17 today, I haven't kept track of you or your work but you've inspired me to go full throttle with my practice in art and I've actually just started to make local commissions and have been featured at my school's art gallery hall! (I dont know how online commissions work or how to really get selling my work rolling) You've done so much for me as being my own motivation just watching this periodically. The music, the grace, and the execution. So beautiful. As I've come back just now hearing you've been fighting a battle over cancer, I will be praying for you in my heart and hope you can continue inspiring others. :) Thank you so much. I hope you’ve reached a place where your body doesn’t slow you down any longer and you can paint glowing stars and goldfish to your hearts desire. It was so wonderful growing up at the same time as you.

God. I remember seeing this piece almost 4 years ago, maybe 3, and thinking "This. This is what I want to be able to do. It's so gorgeous, smooth, free flowing. Is this watercolor? And what's gouache? This artist is incredible, and the emotions are sooo...perfect. Sad and wonderous, gorgeous and simple...". And then I lost the video, couldn't remember it, or who it was by. I saw, and was, this girl in my dreams, dancing and swimming through the stars. Talking to me. Being the epitome of the universe. I picked up painting afterwards, and not going to lie, I'm still struggling with it. I've always been better with pencils than brushes. I moved forward, playing my sport and getting the grades I wanted, but this picture was always at the back of my mind, no matter what else I forgot in time. Now, years later, I see a post by another artist who inspired me. I read the name. I think "Why is this so familiar?" Someone had died, and some part of me is trying to say "You know this. You've seen this." I see the name again. I click the profile. A part of me fills with soft-touched dread and momentarily, I was grieving for those who lost her. Now that I've refound this video, I'm grieving something else. She's immortalized here, in RU-vid videos and Instagram posts, and I'll always get to know that piece of her. But I'll never re-find her. I'll never see her in action, or eagerly await an update, or learn from her. I'll never see the whole person. Here, she can talk to me. But I can never say anything back. I'm so sorry for everyone who lost someone beautiful to them. And to her, for all the pain and treatments and trauma she had to go through. You're grieving someone you knew, and I'm struggling to explain how to grieve someone I'll never know, but I feel most for her family because they're possibly grieving both. Rest in the stars, Qinni. It was so sudden. Just 4 days before she passed away i answered a tweet of her, she wanted to do so many things and i wished she could do everything, i wanted her to overcome cancer. Even their friends knew that if someone could beat it, it was her. I miss you Qinny...i miss you every time i want to give up. Because you never did. And i'll love you forever.

I remember finding this video on RU-vid when I was younger, I remember being amazed by the skill of the artist and baffled by the realistic look it had. A few years later I found the same video in my recommended, I was so happy to find it as I remembered memories from that time. For some reason this popped up on my for you page, worst possible time (2020) Her death was tough on a lot of people she never even met, myself included. She was my main inspiration for art, and when she passed...I can’t even describe it. But watching this now, I’m in tears. The music REALLY pulls it all together, huh? Qinni, your art is beautiful. There are so many lives to end, the corrupt, the evil, dictators, the felons.... but, God took this young bright talented girl's life away. I don't know how I should feel, when her last few posts were full of so much positivity, but... she just passed away. I saw this drawing on Google when I was about 11 and my life changed. I realized that art isn't boring stills of old people, it's anything and everything you want it to be, it's beautiful. Fun fact: almost 4 years ago I came across this video and found a new source of inspiration, I attempted recreating it and forged together my own art style. Present time my hobby became somewhat of a talent. Only recently have I found that one of my first sources of inspiration had left this earth and moved onto a new one. In her short amount of time on this earth she had left her mark here, something that a lot of people couldn’t do. Truly one for the history books.

Aw I remember myself attempting to copy this masterpiece, ended up with a total mess,a blue footed housecat, and a scolding from my parents, but I was happy, because without that day my skills wouldn't have developed to it is today, thank you so much.

Hey guys, I noticed there's more activity on this video these days. I'd like to say thanks for stopping by. I'm not really posting videos at the moment because after my 4th heart surgery this year, it just kind of took a lot out of me, plus I still have an ongoing heart disease, things are a little difficult for me right now. If all of this gets resolved I'll definitely throw stuff up here again (maybe even one talking about this whole situation) Have a great new years everyone :)

Years ago, Qinni inspired me to pick back up my brushes after a very long and very intense art slump, where I had considered quitting altogether due to self doubt and a lack of peer/family support. But then, by chance, I found her art. It's style, emotion, beauty and etheral quality encouraged me and restored a part of me that was missing. I continued my craft and even dabbled in watercolors for a fun couple of months. If it wasn't for Qinni, I believe that my canvases would have stayed blank and my brushes dry. With all the thanks that I can give you, Qinni, I hope that you are still painting up in that big, bright sky 💜
