@@sonicruto but because it was Kyubey who granted the wish, it's only an adaptation of the game magia record, the movie is still unknown, is this what happiness is ???
They will prolong it as much they can milk it, but damn they better make something worth to be milked off from or else it´s just going to be another sad prolonged death Simpsons style... the worst kind of death
The fact this masterpiece might never see the light really breaks my heart. But I pray we'll get to hear this when Homura makes a recap of what happened from wraith arc and rebellion
And your witch shall be: Marilyn, the witch of theaters her nature is to disgruntle. This witch longs to be pleasantly surprised by a work of fiction, but is cursed with foresight and nothing ever surprises her. She sits in her favourite row of the theater stamping her feet in frustration.
Huh, so Madoka's MG outfit was always that of a ballerina. Makes sense in a lot of ways, I think. Because a ballerina spins like the clock's hands. Madoka spins over and over again, using her foot as an axis, of course. Thus the tragedy of Homura's wish leaves and returns as gracefully as she does, repeating as if fate itself, with Madoka at the centre for Homura to watch as the "audience" who can only see her come and go. Automatically, mechanically and without remorse, the cursed cycle keeps on spinning as the consequence of her wish and her means, driving Homura insane *until* ...
In the nut craker story the nut cracker fell in love with the ballerina and with homura being the nutcracker witch she fell in love with madpka who is a ballerina now maybe it symbolic to how the nutcracker and the ballerina could never live happily and they were always apart
@@zafranorbian757 Madoka listens to Ballet music in Episode 1 of the series. They really love hidden details. It's likely Homura associates Madoka with it because MADOKA likes it in the first place.
The song and wallpaper make Madoka seem like she's one of those little ballerina girls in the music boxes, and I can just imagine Homura turning the crank with a possesive smile, making her dance at her own leisure. Also, I just love when the guitar kicks in at 02:00.
@@wolfmoon256 It's probably symbolism with Madoka. Ballerinas typically are assossiated with innocence and perfection. It might be a a reference to how Homura sees Madoka.
I DID IT I FINALLY CAME UP WITH A THEORY FOR THE WINDOWS so remember in no kimi no gin no niwa when the lyrics say something like, chirp your song by the window? i think this is the window they were talking about. Im pretty sure madoka represents a dove, meaning savior, and that dove sings by the window. Remember the scene in rebellion where madoka reaches her hand through the window to save homura? this represents madoka, in her goddess universe reaching out to homura to take her tainted soul gem. basically, the dove by the window. only, this was upset by homuras plan to snatch the dove and drag it inside. like a captured bird, basically. the reason why the window is closed with ribbons is because madoka can no longer access her goddess powers and is TRAPPED in homuras new universe. TLDR madoka (the dove by the window)(savior) reaches into the window to save homura and gets captured and kept inside of homuras new universe, thus losing her goddess powers (windows shut closed.)
Nice theory! That means if this movie ever comes out, then in the story Godoka won’t be able to interfere with the events because of the “closed windows”. Then that only leaves the question, where does Mami fit in? She seemed to be a driving force in the concept trailer. Maybe, the reason the windows are tied with ribbons -Mami’s power- is because Mami is keeping them locked? Like, let’s say Sayaka and Nagisa, or perhaps Homura will want to set Madoka free, but they won’t be able to because of Mami?
@@adaslothland850 Hi ! I don't think Mami would be an enemy for the girls who want to save Madoka. Indeed one of the theories would be that Mami would become a goddess of justice so that even if Homura becomes too weak to maintain her power over the whole universe, Madoka would not become a goddess again: Mami would take Madoka's place. Well yes, now that Homura created a goddess (she linked the destiny to Madoka) she can do it again for Mami... However, as we saw in Rebellion, Homura has no (or rather little, considering what we saw at the end of Rebellion) power over the other witches: while the memory of all the girls had been rewritten, only Sayaka's and Bebe's remained... So one day, Sayaka will realize that she is not needed ("why can I read these letters?") and will surely tell the others, including Mami. She will rebel against Homura, in all logic, especially since we see her holding Sayaka's swords : to fight Homura, she can't use her own powers which are controlled by Homura... Well, it's just a theory... In fact it's so complicated to predict, we all have such different ideas...
Damn, Yuki Kajiura really is a genius. This track is unbelievable. It combined a mysterious feeling played in a classical way with hopeful exciting baroque tunes and adds in more modern sounds with guitar and drums and it's just so many layers but they all work together and I just can't explain how brilliant it is.
"Do you know what happiness is?" Happiness is the Madoka fandom right now, as the fourth movie has been announced. Yes, the Madoka fandom is the literal embodiment of happiness!
great plot, great ost, great character design, great character development. i may be bias, but seriously, what any other show can achieve these aspects as perfect as madoka magica?
well you are right steins;gate may competes with madoka in almost all aspects i mentioned, except for the ost part for me. only a few select of steins;gate osts that i find is above average was played during the show, while almost every scenes in madoka was played with an exceptionally good, not to mention fitting, ost.
Homaru Akemi Like a train, the vehicle that pulls cars along rails on a predetermined path. Hype train generally refers to a buildup of hype, in that a train might gain speed as it travels. Or so I think of it.
It's what's playing in the background of the Concept Movie for the new Madoka project. Since nothing's actually out yet, this OST hasn't gotten an official release, so no one knows what the title will be.
What if this soundtrack playing in the walpurgisnacht movie, I feel like it playing during twisted and conclution momment (I hope not)! I can't wait it
Homura is one that cares about nothing but Madoka and her love and pain directly comes from her feelings for Madoka, Homura wouldn't mind suffering herself or making anything in order to preserve her love and protect Madoka, she ended up creating a new reality where even protecting Madoka and giving her a happy new life, she can never be with her as she was in the past (When she looped time repeteadly) Madoka is one that cares about protecting everyone, she doesnt care about her own love, about her own life, she wouldn't mind suffering in order to preserve everyone's hope, she created a reality where, even if she now lost everything, she can disappear every Magical Girl's despair, preserve the world's hope, but now she will never have her life back, her family and her friends. That sounds pretty similar, both have a really strong wish, both sacrificed in order to make a world where their wishes become true, even is they have to sacrifice in the process, but there's one main difference, Homura' wish is all about Madoka, Madoka's wish is about everyone, and that makes them total opposites, both of their wishes can't become true at the same time, that's why we can't have Ultimate Madoka and Devil Homura at the same time, that's why Homura had to seal Madoka in order to make her wish true, because U.Madoka and D.Homura are the total embodiment of their wishes, their ideals, and as I said, those ideals and wishes are opposites, Madoka wants to protect everybody's hope, taking away the despair, while Homura only want's to protect her own love, saving Madoka. If they want to complete their ideals they will be enemies, no matter what. Before, they could be friends, because, even if they had those wishes that would make them enemies, they just didnt totally showed them, they didnt reached their climax, they were just saving their wishes for themselves, as I said, not showing them, (Probably the only time one of their wishes was totally shown was when Homura go back in time, she didnt cared about anything else, she just wanted to protect Madoka, but when that happened Madoka wasn't aware of it, so they didn't argued or even fought because of their opposite ideals) I'll put an example. Here, the 5 main girls are happy together, all are Magical Girls, but then, a situation appears, and because of that situation Mami, Sayaka and Kyoko have to die so Madoka can survive. In that case, Homura would definitely do what she have to do in order to protect Madoka and she would try to kill the other 3 girls, she wouldn't care about the girls life, she just cares about Madoka's, but if that happened, Madoka would probably just thinks that Homura is an enemy, because she is attacking them, and she would team with the other girls against Homura, because Madoka wouldn't notice that Homura is only attacking the others, not her, and that's because Madoka doesn't care about herself, she doesn't care about her life, she just cares about protecting others, that's why she wouldn't notice Homura isn't attacking her, and she would only think she simply now is an enemy, and even if Madoka understands about the situation of her death, she would probably just sacrifice in order to protect her friends. Madoka and Homura wishes can't both become true at the same time, Ultimate Madoka and Devil Homura can't exist at the same time. Personally I think of 3 possible ways this could end up in a new movie or project. 1- Madoka and Homura are happy together. There are two ways this could happen, the first one is both turn into normal girls again, but then, without any of the 2 embodiment of their wishes, the incubators would probably start their plans and attack again, and the second one (And I would definitely hate if this one happens) is that somehow both U.Madoka and D.Homura simply exist at the same time and they are happy together. 2- A new Magical girl's wish is as strong (or even more) as Homura's or Madoka's and that Girl takes the control and creates a new universe. 3- As it already happened at the end of rebellion, one of the two wishes takes over the other one, and U. Madoka seals D. Homura or D. Homura seals U. Madoka.
I’m crying this is sooooo good and I’m tired of ppl blaming Homura for bringing Madoka back. Also, I agree with your analysis. It would be sad if they eventually become enemies but I still look forward to it coz that would be an ultimate display of their ideology and it would definitely be impressive and breathtaking
notice that Madoka has grown up. she's older in this picture. I think Homera will not like that she's moving on and will start another time loop, which magical girls will be aware of.
After all these years, we're going to get a 4th movie, was announced about a week ago, it will take time though, probably a year or so until it's ready
I just realized something...the concept movie trailer OST sounds like a corrupt slower version of Mami's theme mixed with variations of other PMMM theme songs. My prediction that Mami's going to be the next villain might just have more merit now that I noticed that detail.
I've been thinking that too. Sounds a lot like Mami's theme from her Rebellion transformation ;) Maybe they'll speak on this movie soon. The concept movie is 1 and a half years old.
@@tsuksaamane5191 I hope she is. Obviously for the right reasons ofc. :> I would love to see Mami regain her memories and be the "villian" who tries to get the world turning again.
Coming from someone who once was anti anime, I can say that this anime is amazing, it's the only anime that I really like. (I'm still not a big anime fan... Unless it's PMMM)
I have this on favorites since way back 2016 a couple days after it was released to periodically listen the song. We still dont have the movie, but damn sure I am going to hold to this melody.
Love 1:45 ... sounds like an attempt for Madoka's Theme. The bell-like melody from 1:54 is magical (no pun intended). Anyway, those sections work as a whole, the most emotional sections wouldn't work without the others. I love music. Nice beat by the way!
Wow, there is a big big thing coming out, this soundtrack is just great and the start gave the sensation something powerful it's going to happen, it also sounds like Madoka Religion. And, In a church, I hear cathedral bells and I feel such small
I think Madoka as a ballerina is supposed to symbolize her being a puppet and Homura is the one who is pulling the strings. Just a thought. When’s the movie coming out???!
Cuddle Bee Actually, the concept movie is not something that will get a “long version”. It’s just a short movie of the new concepts that will be used for upcoming projects in the series. For now, Shaft and the directors of the series probably won’t get working on some more actual Madoka series installments for a while yet, since they’re currently working more on other series and also Magia Record. But do not abandon hope, this series will definitely get more stuff, probably soon. They’re just figuring out how they are going to continue this confusion of a series.
Shikieki the yama yeah it’s the interpretation that makes the most sense. Her Clara dolls represent what she hates about herself, we know that there is an unknown Clara doll named love, and we know she calls what happened to her soul gem “love.”
Half of a parable. I don’t understand why Madoka lets my story be told at all. If they know she’s fallible, no matter how unlikely, there are those who would take advantage of that, as I did. Your answers may come after Magia Record...
There's a main character named Bernard from a British children's book/tv show called "Bernard's Watch". The boy received a watch that enabled him to stop time for his convenience. The catch was, he could not do any misfit with it, and if used for too long, the watch would make him lose the iron in his blood. And here's the thing. In both the book and the show, there were situations in which no matter how much control he held over time... In the end, if it mattered, destiny had its way (it was the case for his aunt, who used the watch for too long). If only the boy existed in the same universe as Homura. Or the boy's aunt... Homura could use counsel from someone who went through the same things as her, and managed to remember it. That's the point in my fanfic, that she needs people who went through the same experiences as her. She never aged. She's still a child. A child with all the time in the world, and she still could not accomplish anything, neither when she did things right nor when she deviated from grace. Kinda like how the characters from this specific British midia were forced to accept certain things every once in a while. Another good example of useless power would be Yorichi from "Demon Slayer". It brought him no meaningful accomplishments. Homura is a character we need to feel sorry for. But it's also someone who teaches you the need for acceptance. Just like Madoka teaches you determination and hope.
"There’s been a lot of cats around lately. Some of the cats are dead. What’s the difference between the dead cats and the living cats?" Or- whatever it was. I wonder if this line has something to do with exactly what Homura's world is- specifically, a cage intended to keep Madoka locked up and shielded from the horrors of the world. What if the "dead cats" are curious people who got suspicious? Think about it- madoka, clearly, feels something is wrong, too- perhaps she gets curious. Perhaps everyone does- Or maybe it's kyubey But that's just speculation
Marzo 2018, seguimos sin noticia alguna de Madoka Magica, Se rumorea que harán dos nuevas temporadas y Yuki Kajiura abandona la industria de la música. Empiezo a temer por el futuro de esta obra de arte
"W-what? This fourth movie you're talking about, it's another whole reality? Did you really wish for a whole reality to be made just to satisfy your curiosity? Are you telling me there are three other whole reality we can't even perceive?" "Three? Oh dear Incubator, you have no idea the scope of our suffering. Our power. We rewound and replayed those three realities over and over, just to glean a little bit more detail, a little bit of clue of what our favorite characters can do. *Should* do, to escape each of their cruel fate. And each and every day, we make little branches of reality, many fanfics, all culminating in empty conclusion that can never be made official! Do you have any idea how painful that is? *Incubator!"* "You're talking as if reality is a form of entertainment for you. What exactly are you?" "We are almighty observers whom your entire universe hold no power against. And yet we are powerless to affect your universe in turn. We are *the viewers.* And we demand a conclusion to your miserable universe! This is my wish. Now grant them, Incubator!"
