On top of that, it actually stimulates the animals to have another species around. Another common pairing for Orangutans is Otters, they too can become a friendly companion but they can also get on the Orangs nerves. However, giving the Orangs something like a troublesome Otter can actually be quite beneficial as it keeps them busy throughout the day and stimulates their highly inteligent minds.
