日本最大のカピバラ保有数を誇るバイオパークは、動物たちと直接コミュニケーションが取れる世界的にも珍しい動物園。副園長伊藤雅男のインタビューとともに、憶病で知られるカピバラが人間に懐いている、非常に愛らしく珍しい姿をお届けする。
Adorable capybara taking baths! We headed to Nagasaki Bio Park to meet a herd of capybara who love to take a dip in the park's hot spring.
Nagasaki Bio Park allows visitors to get friendly and intimate with the animals. We interviewed Mr. Ito, the head of the park, and checked out the normally shy rodents in their element.

That comes with it's own price. It's a conformist society so it might look peaceful on the surface but people who don't like conforming and have ideas of their own tend to get stifled. Your view is a rather naive one.

It's always a better life when you don't have to be afraid of being eaten. The onsen is a big plus however.

For the people that don't speak spanish, the man is saying that the capybara's are not hamsters, they are capybara's and they can not be put in giant hamster wheels connected to a dynamo to generate electricity, he has tried this and they will not run. hth

You need to have at least two if you plan to get one. They have a strong herd mentality, and you shouldn't have one alone by itself regardless of how well you treat it.
