For more information on pet capybaras, please see my blog at www.GianHamster.com. In this video 1 week old Mudskipper Rous meets Winston Bumblebee Barcode the 1st, a very dignified guinea pig.
As a baby Capybara, he has not yet learned that his entire life mission is to simply chill, look straight forward, and just exist harder than any other animal ever 😂
Me too. Fact is, I wouldn't have taken a baby away from its mother so early, although they seem to do fine, but this one was given to me by the breeder and that's just how old she was.
Tbh the guinea pig is probably a little nervous. They tend to stare at anything moving in their vicinity. They're also pretty smart though so I'm sure they're also curious
What do you think of my GP called Lucretia Abigail Alucarda? (had a long back coat, was fluffy, white and dramaticly fabulous, black lustrous eyes naturally delineated with black skin.A drop of black hair around her left eye)
CozyGuinea Piggies mine were Oreo and Hershey. (The first sound he made was a kissing sound) and then we got Percy, (used to be named sweetie pie, poor thing, he’s a boy) and Peanut and Chester from Chester brook academy. But sadly, Chesty died.
@@theamazinggamers9914 Not too much different. Trying to get better but its slow progress. Still have 2 guinea pigs albeit not the ones i had back then
The only "related" is that they are rodents, but is so different a capybara from a guinea pig as a capy. from a rat. This puppy should be being breastfed by his mother, like his brood of siblings, and already learning to swim, an activity that should occupy a large part of his life. Or... the guinea pig will teach him to swim?
@@miayllescas3184 Capybaras are very social animals and tend to stay with their families and herds for life. Or they find a new herd if they are excommunicated.
"Yeh, you love me, don't you? I know, you can't help it. I'm a capybara. Everybody loves me. Just TRY to stay away. You can't, can you? Like I told you, I'm a CAPYBARA. Behold my power."
I THINK THEY LOOKALIKE A LITTLE BIT BECAUSE THEIR POINTY NOSE FROM THE SIDE VIEW THATS THEIR CLOSEST RELATIVE THE GUINEAPIG AND THE CAPABARA THE GUINEAPIG IS VERY SOCAIL RODENTS
The guinea pig is totally stressed out. Getting licked at the ears and eyes is a sign of dominance for the gp, it is like getting padded on the hair by a stranger on the street. The gp reacts really cool.
Both of them are so adorable! I would like to own a capybara myself some day. It is nice to see a video of a baby interacting with a guinea pig and how they act as infants.
I am lucky enough to see Capys often, as there are some on my way to the airport, in Sao Paulo. (By the hotel ponds right of the road, just before you arrive to Garulhos from the city).
AWWW..., what precious ♡Cavys!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this adorable video of your beautiful furry kiddos with us! My 4 G-piggies are my children (my world)! They stole my ♡heart while I was living in France, so much that I did absolutely everything in my power to safely & successfully transport them out of France & import them into my home country with me in the Airplane!! : ) It breaks my heart whenever I hear of people that think of Guinea pigs (or ANY species of animals) as an object that feels no pain, illness, hunger, thirst, emotions, etc... etc... etc... just like humans :( So, it always makes my ♡heart swell with joy & relief when I see a true animal lover/owner like yourself!!! THANK YOU FOR BEING--->YOU☆!!!!!!!!! : ) ~Arin...
Guinea pig=Just chilling in the same spot and eating. Capybara=I think I'll explore and cuddle with this other creature lol Gotta love rodents, they get such a bad rap but they're adorable. I used to breed gerbils, very social animals. I wish I could geta Capybara.
Actually, no. Guinea pigs stay with their moms for 2 months. After 2-3 days they can eat the same food as the adults, but they still drink milk as their main food supply. And in great need to be close to their mom. Just like this baby capybara, that's why he tries to snuggle the piggie, he misses his mom.
They look so similar, same size, mostly same shape, the only difference is that the capybara's legs are longer. At 4:13, where we can't really see the capybara's legs, I swear we're looking at two adult guinea pigs. So cute, both of them!
Leader success ! Maybe an adult but that's a baby that would waste like a lot of meat also is aquatic rodent they be much harder to raise the normal animals
In fact he has. And he has many videos on is capybaras but never replies as to why he purchases them from infancy and get them home way before they're weaned off nursing and ready to be separated.
They tend to be weaned off milk within a week so they tend to be given away as soon as they are weaned so then they vanbuild a better bond with their owners otherwise they may attack them if sold when they're older.
Phil0s0raptor I am really sad and heartbroken for how capes are treated but at least he has the guinea pig besides just dead stuffed toys. Captain are herd animals and happiest with a captain family.
they are related but no guinea pigs are not domesticated capybaras. They aren't sure which small South American rodent(s) they came from. Wikipedia has some info here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinea_pig#Natural_habitat
Awww aren't you precious. You just felt the need to what, siddle on in and snipe at me for daring to link to wikipedia? I am well aware that the site has issues, but generally it works for something casual like this. It's not as if I'm trying to cite in a scientific paper. Now, if you had actually taken the time to link to a better site and phrased it politely such as, "I find that Wikipedia has issues with information hygiene this site has better information about that" with links provided, then I would have agreed with you and probably thought, hey that person knows their stuff, given my thanks, respected you. Or hell even just "here's some better info on that than you can find on wikipedia." But as things stand, go away and bother someone else.
No, I'm sure you would never say anything nasty to anyone at all. Nor would you insinuate that I spent too much time on the computer. I suppose butter wouldn't melt in your mouth either.
so funny - you ignore - I shall sit on your food then - lol - I find it quite strange how the GP isn't really reacting he's sorta shrugging him off as if to say yehr I'm quite happy on my own thanx lol great vid I was mesmerised 👍💟
