At the time of its release, it was a promotional movie for Burapi. But it was my favorite movie. It was full of love and I saw it many times. My sister's Mr./Ms. and my sister's Mr./Ms.'s husband Mr./Ms. favorites!
@@user-zi3mn5cx9b , The scene where the older sister Mr./Ms. cried down the cake was really heartbreaking It's okay for your husband Mr./Ms. to be a good person
This make me remember my father. In his last days, he said to us his childrens: "I used to accompany people in their last days, so I know the sign, my days are counted. So accompany me, I want you all to be by my side when the time comes." He passed away peacefully last week. May God bless you Father.
Everything is deliriously perfect and both Brad Pitt and Claire Forlani were the gorgeous ever couple in a movie! I felt so real watching this! Incredible!
Personally, I like Burapi's work. At first, it was after I left the café, but I liked the development after that and the way it ended. Burapi is also good, but the woman who plays the other side is very beautiful, and Anthony Hopkins has good taste
Beatifully done on the editing; so very carefully done with attention to the character arcs, the story and the acting. Thanks so much for putting this up - nothing else matches I appreciate the full hospital bed scene story showing Death's change in understanding.
I remember watching this movie as a child around age 10. I remember thinking that Susan was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my entire life. No makeup or fancy hairstyle needed. Her eyes were like sparkling jewels that made me jealous because my eyes were only brown. Not that gorgeous green hue like hers
I thought Brad Pitt acted fantastic in this movie playing 2 different people of death through most of movie and playing guy from coffee shop and walking back over the bridge to Susan.
"Should I be afraid? Not a man like you." I love this movie, Claire and Brad are amazing and their work touches me deep in my soul. Yet I know this...that no man - no matter how good and great they are - is able to place their ultimate faith in themselves. Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, God with Us, the One who bled and died for sin is the only man to live the perfect life. It is only because of Him that we can have no fear in life and death.
My theory is that he eventually give the coffee shop guy his life back because he isn’t able to be with Susan and she thinks he’s the guy who charmed her in the coffee shop anyway
Such tenderness and truths about being human from the spirit world and feeling what we feel, and finding that love actually can.. hurt. Feeling what humans feel without knowing how to deal with the emotions and the heart-felt strings that tear your very soul apart... watching this torture s agonising, surreal, and yet, so real... bless you Joe Black, for reminding me that it really IS okay to have these exquisite thoughts and desires that we do not actually take any action about, but physically radiate our longing, that is not always detected by the subject of our attentions - but sometimes IS, causing self panic and bewilderment about how we react next. Masterful storytelling.
It’s difficult for me to understand why so many people hate this movie. I never saw the original but, nevertheless I found it to be an interesting concept played by very good actors who happened to be uncommonly attractive people… I thought it was a very entertaining flick.
@@Edmund_Mallory_Hardgrove Glad to learn the movie had such favorable stats - kinda feel validated. The group I was with, lambasted me for not getting on the “hate Brad Pitt” bandwagon, and I tossed out Joe Black as a shining example of his good work. I Still think Pitt’s been a fun movie star to watch, and that he has chosen most of his scripts wisely and therefore, his movies, overall, don’t suck…. So, I suppose I was echoing the sentiments of the group, and thought that apparently, I was odd for liking, ‘Joe Black.’
Ohhhh so it wasn't Death who made the first impression with Susan it wad the actual Joe. And when he got hit by a car it want just comic relief but it wad death taking him.
Claire Forlani is a very rare woman, but guys fail to see how soft and warm she is inside. Only her and Jennier love Hewitt can give you that feeling that her whole heart is open for you. But you would need to watch the old party of 5 shows or heartbreaker movie to see what I mean.
she's quite the beautiful woman. Sadly not the best actress in my opinion she is good for standing there and looking good. She wasn't in many major hits, i consider this movie her best. But quite the looker.
Love this movie so much. It was so underrated, i never understood why. The acting was great. The conversation joe had with the old lady....n of course Anthony Hopkins , his acting was just so awesome. Wishing and praying that I will go off like that with no regrets. The ending was sad when he had to leave with Joe. But he had a good life. I have had a good life so far too. 😍
@@jermainamburayan580 there's just a few scenes that feel unnecessary and slow. It's a great movie but if would be critically acclaimed if it just had a bit better direction in my opinion.
Now I realised the lines of Troy movie....GODS ENVY US" ...becoz we are immortal....we can never be here like now...the love we share envy them...as it's pure & smthg they never found in their life time as well....❤❤❤
Very well edited and Thank You! The films Meet Joe Black and Lost in Translation are my favorite films and have watched both many times. Days of Heaven with the late Linda Manz is another. Her narration adds so much and she was a major character. Check it out!
The cafe scene is my favorite. I picked up the eating peanut butter with a spoon from the movie now that I'm making it in a blender with roasted peanuts. Makes it a lot cheaper. Thanks for covering up the accident.
Ovde se vodi ljubav u pogledu, dodiru duša . Bez banalnosti i površnosti. Kad osećaš svu uzvišenost takve ljubavi i lepotu. Remek delo ljubavi..... prava umetnost. Kad je vođenje ljubavi remek delo........ 😊🙏🙏👏
Da niste ipak pomalo ljubomorni. Onako, malkice. Vi kao da ste slepi da vidite dubinu i lepotu tog pogleda, oboje imaju prelepe oči. Hopkins, takođe. Bog da vas blagoslovi.
you love this movie so much because it hits the nail on the head. You love to bring everything into live and bring it to rest again. You all are in love with both. In Love with live, in love with dead
I am in stage 4. I am looking for that being that I can ask that question and get that response. Should I be afraid? Not a man like you... For now I wake up afraid and it has infiltrated every dream. For anyone in my situation... I wish you peace and a painless trip.
