It's a sin to play such nice equipment in a space that has absolutely NO room treatment...I'm beginning to think that in Japan room treatment is at best an afterthought...at worst no consideration at all ....
beautiful speakers but terrible room, "house" looks unfinished with exposed walls and pipework but hey let's install these expensive speakers first. 😏😏
Apparently, they count this decoration finished, and this strange look is what the designer actually intended to build. Probably, they were inspired by "Liminal space" / "Backrooms" theme (google it). This room causes weird feelings: those concrete walls bring a depressing mood, and wooden wall creates lively contrast, especially with that window and a plant behind it. Would love to visit this place in person.
