I always watch it. The bold weathering and coloring are so amazing that I couldn't imitate it no matter how hard I tried. 😅 I also think the photography techniques used during production are fantastic.😊🎉
@@platoki Your video on the Revell F-14A Tomcat made me decide to get back into the hobby, so thank you my friend :D Looking forward to seeing your next project!

Très beau travail, malheureusement terni par la couleur bleu du pare-brise ( non translucide) certainement rectifiable!allez on retrousse les manches et ce sera parfait! Allez courage j’ai hâte de le revoir avec ce soupçon de perfection…
@@platoki Not only I' ve enjoyed it so much, but as you present the build and materials I' ve also learned a lot. Its quite fantastic! Thank you so much!
I just subscribed, I really appreciate airbrush settings and paint ratio. Maybe next time you can make mini tutorial on dry brushing or other brushing techniques? Thank you.
Thank you for your question. Main reason was to use black surfacer for white painting but I prefer 1500 these days. 1000 is sometimes rough to use. Also 1500 primer can leave gross look on surface.
It's an ok built. I don't wanna sound to negative. There is no blue on the GRU-7 Ejection Seats, it's rather a slightly blueish grey. The windshield is completely botched - you are aware that the pilot has to look through it, right? ;) The dirt spots on the bottom of the external fuel tanks are to strong imho, whereas the dark cussions in front of the tailfins where the wings slide over when being folded, could use some weathering. The postion lights on the ports side are green and not blue + you forgot to paint the bottom fuselage one (see 52:25). And the "201" decal on the nose is missing. The decals on the Phoenix are on the side not on the bottom. 😕
Thank you for your suggestion and thorough analysis of entire my video. I really appreciated it. I will incorporate those comments for further improvement of my modeling. Thank you again.
I liked the model! But there are a lot of extra layers. Such effects can be achieved in a couple of approaches. It’s not clear with the blue lantern, why is it opaque?
You are a superb modeler but i must raise one major critic that no one dare to raise so far. You use way way to much paint flow or a wrong presure settings on your airbrush, which causes the painting finish to look grainy and "spitted". I watched many videos of yours and you use the same technique. Most of the modelers use much less amount of paint and pressure, which results to more even and smooth finish. Except of that, excellent work!
Thank you so much for your comment and detailed analysis. I really appreciated your feedback back. Right, sometimes blush stuck so I might have used higher pressure. I will try lower pressure next time build. For upcoming several video which I am creating now, I already built so it won’t change but for the model in the future I’m sure I try. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for your feedback! Yes that might needs to be thinner. And paint itself might be a little old. I will make sure to do it right next time!
@@platoki indeed, but how did you find their application, knowing that Tamiya decals can be a pain sometimes? I just bought the kit, and am wondering if I should get aftermarket decals, if the box ones are bad. Many thanks! And great work, again!
Oh understood. Thank you for your question. I like it. It’s a little thick but strong and easy to peel when absorbing the water. I do not have much complaints but depends on person of course. Aftermarket decals are good options too!
Thank you so much! Alas, sounds like all of the music were not good. Which type of music do you prefer? If I may ask. Anyway, appreciate for your feedback.
@@platokithe music in the cockpit portion sounded like a remix of the score from the film The Ghost and the Darkness; there’s even a lion roar around 7 minutes. (The movie is about man eating lions)
@DRSchmid Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. I really appreciated it. I did not know that. I got bunch of comments about back ground music so I will make sure to choose more soft BGM going forward, thanks.
