맞아요 괜히 저주받은 목소리가 아니죠........ 연기도 발연기에 화음도 안 맞고 긴장감 임펙트 전혀 없어요 원래 저 씬은 루시랑 드라큘라 백작이 고혹적이게 밤에 취해 사람들을 홀리는듯 하면서 긴장감 있고 파워풀하게 불러야 하는데...........

Sorry for the WAY late reply - this became my secondary youtube/email account a while ago... I'm not super fluent in Japanese yet, still working on it, so I can't accurately translate it. There are other versions of this song - in German and Korean - that have translations, but they're accurate to the language. Lyrics change subtly to fit the language and the song, so they don't work perfectly from language to language. The English version is out there somewhere too - it was originally English, after all. But the only recording is a low-quality recording of a low-quality production, so I don't like it very much. The chorus goes something like - "Life after life, you don't need flowers on your grave; no need for prayers, you have no mortal soul to save; no need for (sorrow? grief? some word I forgot) no one need ever shed a tear; for the gift that I've given you Shines brighter than gold; Life after life"

It's been a while since I searched it... Wao Yoka was one of the best actors in a takarazuka troupe - stage actors who are all women, so they have loads of experience acting out male roles. The original Dracula was written to be a character that could be male or female too, I believe. So for this performance, which is rather low-cost, they got a well-known actress for male roles for Dracula to have a bigger audience. I believe that was the reasoning. I think she did an amazing job, and her performance as Dracula is actually very inspiring to me. ^~^
