Checking out Wataru Masuyama, who will be competing in the Formula Drift USA 2020 series. A humble guy, but very talented. He`s competed very well in Formula Drift Japan, and I`m excited to see him come to the US to show off his skills. His S15 Silvia is undergoing final steps of the build, soon to be brought out for a shakedown drift.
They had one request and would like the viewers to be creative and help them out with something. Details shown in the video!

Maybe it's funny, but since I first saw his car (at noriyaro movie "Underground pro drift competition") I totally loved wing on his training sr20 S14 (it's the same at competition S15). So for me "Wingman" is pretty similar with his plans for FD Usa. All rounds, man, that's very hard. By the way we're also drift freaks from Poland, all of us unanimously thing that's gonna be very interesting season.

I love this guy I seen him in person when he visited Fd Seattle in the stands and he could barley speak english at the time but he was so passionate and a young guy, I hope he does we’ll definitely gonna be rooting for him!

"Move like Wataru" kinda like the quote from Bruce Lee - "Be water, my friend" TBH I think Jarod might just come up with something on the fly from learning about him and watching his driving. Pretty much how most all nicknames he's given are created I believe.

This is going to make FD allot more exciting, you've got your friend from "HeyMan" garage (man respect for him going as a privateer! I hope some good sponsors pick him up so he can make as much of the season as possible!)and now Watasaru! Thanks Robbie for the content and making it so both Japanese and English can be understood in a unique way. I think his nickname should be “waterboy” because of his name it sounds like water and his car is water blue. I don’t like wingman!
