Exactly. But when people see it move this slow, it just doesn’t seem very impressive. I’m not sure why so many videos of this machine have it moving slow, it CAN move fast too.
Every Honda snowblower I see that has tracks on these videos GOES AS SLOW AS A SNAIL!! What gives. All that power and you got to go that's slow. Like a $13000 machine I don't get it.. Very very very overpriced You could do the same identical thing with 1/4 the cost with a TORO track or an ARIENS track And it will be easier to fix, CHEAPER TO FIX easy to find parts ( and the parts will be available forever ) it'll go faster. MY FAVORITE IS TORO!!! Toro got rated the best performing snowblower when consumer reports and other professional companies did tests. They're just so ingenious and understand what matters and what doesn't. For instance Toro's no shear pins and a hardened gearbox is awesome!! And it works I've encountered it myself. Smacked right into a car rim under the snow I didn't know was there at my house. The machine stopped immediately no stress on the system. Started it right back up and on my way. Anti-clogging system is amazing. It makes the snow lighter by recirculating some of it back in front of the auger. It makes it easier to throw, you can throw more snow, puts less stress on the system, the belts and the gearbox. Not to mention because it keeps recirculating the snow making it lighter and fluffier It allows you to go through thicker, deeper, wet snow easier.. Someone said and was incorrect saying Ariens throws more snow in Toro throws it further. If you look at the specifications Ariens throws 65 tons per hour, the Toro throws 2,200 lb per minute which comes out to about 66 tons per hour. Not only does Toro throw it further it throws more!! And one more thing Ariens always talks about how it has thicker metal and that's what everyone says better made blah blah blah This is also not true. Toro has discussed many times why they use plastic in certain places.. they claim plastic last longer, does it rust, it's more slippery so snow doesn't stick to it, in some cases plastic can be even stronger.. Same thing with the metal they use on the housing.. Yes Ariens is thicker But according to what I read Toro uses a special type of metal that is a lot stronger per its size. So in other words you can get the same strength with thinner metal if you use a certain type of metal and a process... It saves them money, you money and does not change the longevity of their products.. Not to mention lighter and easier to maneuver. Oh and did I mention THE QUICK STICK!! SOME PEOPLE JUST BY TORO IS JUST FOR THAT NOBODY ELSE IS EVEN COMES CLOSE WHEN IN TERMS OF CONTROL OF THE SNOW EVEN ARIENS IS MOST EXPENSIVE MODEL THAT IS COMPLETELY ELECTRONIC!! The quick stick is amazingly ingenious also!! Toro just seems to know what matters and know what doesn't.. A lot of old school guys favor Ariens That's just how they are no matter what. OH ALSO DID I MENTION. IN 1951 TORO WAS THE FIRST COMPANY IN HISTORY TO MAKE THE FIRST STAND BEHIND SNOWBLOWER FOR THE CONSUMER!! ;)
This machine is so. So loud . Make it as quiet as the honda generators . How many speeds? One, tow ,three ...you need a seat on that thing to sit for hours and watch videos like this
@@billtraff2275 bill do you have a snow blower? I've got 2 Honda 11/32 ya nice blowers but don't care who you are your hunched over not like My other MTD that revs up when your loading it down. And it's only a 10hp..obviously no one in the USA has heard of it because it was made in Kitchener ontario. I would have been done all that snow in 5 min. This video was a waste of time. Talk all you want everyone with your Hondas. This video is a joke !!!
For the price of this thing you can buy yourself a mini riding tractor with a snowblower attachment that will beat it And then you could buy other attachments for your grass, snow plow whatever. Damn those Hondas are so overpriced
I'd put my fraction of the price MTD snowblower against that thing. And on the other side of him in the deeper snow and raced past him. This video was a waste of my time!!
Don, are you on drugs! Your piece of crap MTD couldn't and can't hold a candle to my 30 year old 8/28 let alone this Honda. you know as well as anyone that he could have gone faster, not the point of the video. You don't know what your talking about.
@@briancampbell5944 my question to you now is do you own a Honda. Because yes I do, 2 Honda 11 /32. And if I have my choice of getting snow cleared in half the time of the 11/32 I'll pull out my 10/28 MTD which by the way was built in Ontario. Only one thing I can say to you is talk is cheap Brian. Track drive is slow and you cannot deny that. Say it how ever you want.
My answer is yes, I own two, the 8/28 and the 13/32. Track drive is not slow as I have owned a 1986 Sears 10/32 and the Honda was not only as fast but had more traction. I bought the 8/28 in 1989 while living in Northern BC. The Tecumseh on the Sears blower (Made in Canada)refused to start many a time so I bought the Honda and have not looked back. Bought the new 13/32 in 2017 and it is a true workhorse and reliable. I also like the fact the Honda will be still going in 30 years. Don't care where that MTD is made, not in same league as the Honda. That is my opinion so don't take it the wrong way. I just cleared out around my house and up on the rear deck where no wheeled blower could even go so each to their own. Other than that Happy New Year.
You can buy 6 cheaper blowers that move twice as fast and clear snow just as well and will last 10 years in a residential setting. His face is blurred out because he is actually asleep.
@@user-ho5yc6yc4j I appreciate that you like to work slow and do a very meticulous job but I came to your video to see what a Honda blower of this size could do in deep snow. Thank you anyways.
