For those wondering why theres shark there. The Japanese word for "frill shark" sounds a lot like the hiragana pronunciation for the English word for "love" (rabu) with the question particle "ka" at the end, hence ラブカ (frill shark).
@@jakomioftherose2434 It is a rather punny song that is both about frilled sharks and Yandere love at the same time. This is why I snarked about Gura being who the song is for.
I mean Lui more like cool nee-san with cute outfit idol(?). I kinda hope hololive member have individual idol outfit themself to make emphasive their character.
Lui really became the thing she fears the most. This whole MV is just eerie and I love it. Lui's vocals are amazing as always, her voice is just perfect on these kinds of song.
I heard a bit of Ado’s, and I think Lui’s breathier vocals actually hit the jazziness/swing style this needs. Ado’s voice is almost TOO powerful to really catch that vibe. She’s good, mind, but I think this actually works a bit better.
It was written for Ado to sing (both versions came out on the same day) saying it's not her song is like saying any song not written by the singer is not theirs
Love everything about this cover. The visuals, the music, and oh my god that voice! Yet another amazing song from Lui and I'm expecting oh so many more to come due to her skills.
I'm reminded that HoloX are supposed to be villains, and that Lui is probably the person running the group for a reason. I imagine her pulling that face on any poor hero inclined to underestimate her.
@@Shade45- if you l look at the original song I belive that this choice was made to look like the character in the original song as the character in the original song had some kind of japanese text for teeth. I can't read japanese so I dont know what it says tho
@@ameraldas3641 they are supposed to represent the teeth of the frilled shark, which is the animal seen in the background, it is considered one of the worst bites in nature however they live to deep to pose a danger to humans
Having listened to the original and several mixes of this over the last few weeks, this is the best by far. It's all down to the personality Lui puts into the vocals and the perfect way she's mixed into the music.
I like how there are some Ammonites along with Frilled Sharks in the MV, because frilled shark's genus (Chlamydoselachus) dating back to about 84 million years ago, same era as ammonites. Overall, Lui's voice is really great! Love it!
