This sigma is hard, but X4 sigma 3rd form was a pain in the ass. Everytime that I tried to do a perfect run, sigma's vacuum damaged me D= But this is a nice run anyway =)
I don't know if they changed anything from when this game came out and Megaman X Collection, because I don't remember Sigma being this hard in the original. Based on my Megaman X Collection experience, this is the hardest Sigma for me. It's the only one that I cannot beat without at least 1 Subtank.
Indeed.. X4 Last Boss it's not only hard but it comes in four parts. And you have to fight two Sigmas in one final fight. Pretty original! Brutal game!
Haha, I love how Sigma just drops in on his back. It's like the developers are saying: "What's that? Gate's not good enough? You want a Sigma battle? Fine, whatever!"
I'm speechless due to the sheer awesomeness of this...It took me 3 days to bet Hell Sigma. Other commenters, don't show off saying "I beat him in like 2 minutes!" or whatever...You guys try it without sub-tanks and with normal X on Xtreme Mode. Oh and also NO POWERS or those skills you obtain from bosses.
Actually I find this version of sigma way harder than X4, but maybe that's because I've played X4 dozens of times and learned how to dodge everything. I only played 6 twice.
To be honest, even on Hard, Sigma isn't all thatdifficult here in X6. In fact, he's fairly easy with Unarmored X. Personally, I find him the most difficult with Blade Armor X. For me, the very final battle with Hell Sigma, is INSANELY easy with Shadow Armor X, and Zero.
When I first when against Sigma on that game, I was low on energy on that part. When I was on the wall avoiding his other attacks, but when I saw that laser beam I was like, "What the FUCK!!?" Boosh! He was gone, baby! He was gooonnne!
I'll say one thing- You were extremely lucky on the Hell Sigma form. If he had used that giant electric ball attack, you would have been done for. In fact, I'm sure that ended a lot of your attempts.
11 years late, but they have specifically stopped damaging him after getting him to down to ~50% of his health specifically to get to a 4-in-a-row ground laser attack and finish him off before he can do the purple orbs, since the purple orb attack activates once his health goes below a certain threshold.
@proceedaneed For "you" perhaps, I beat it in one try as X and 2 tries as Zero. I had a harder time with Sigma's second form as Zero than anything in that game. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, possibly the greatest out of all 6, but I wouldn't call it the hardest. By the way, it shouldn't be "considered" anything. It "IS" a remixed combination of both of sigma's themes from X1 and Sigma's first theme from X2, as it uses all three of those riffs in a heavy metal remastered remix.
Good Job, but if he threw Hitenryo (the balls) you would have been finished. And there are no differences in X collection besides the SFX (and Zero's 1st jump slash does more damage)
Man, after X6 was created against Inafune's wishes, and X7 and X8 were shat out, I have no hopes left for that franchise, because they'll just screw it up.
@Roberman2808 Actually, I find X7 2nd Sigma to be easier. This one is easy only beacause EVERYTHING hurts it for mega damage making the fight ridiculously short while in X7 all his moves have a pattern that u have to get down, and I'm not even counting the move u can't get hit with by using Stonekong's shield.
