My father, who was an expert on ancient Chinese language, told me that the word 儿 in the poem should be pronounced by ni to rhyme. He had a bunch of other theories about this which I have long forgot. Keep it up. I truly enjoy your videos.
Reading old Classical Chinese is a difficult feat on it’s own, the random placement on the words prior to each sentence deepens the plot, what greater purpose other than a visual effect does that serve?
