You should try other halal Chinese food other than only Lanzhou Lamian, which is a somewhat halal chinese fast food. There are quite a lot other halal restaurants around East Nanjing Road.
I think the main problem is I don’t know mandarin so researching places to visit is quite tricky especially Google maps is not helpful there. I loveeee Beidu and Dianping and I wish I know Mandarin to be able to leverage that 😭 *Won’t be my last time visiting Shanghai though! One of my best citiessss to visit!
