Have similar boat in Sri Lanka, imported from Japan in 2016. Yamaha 115hp with 15 pitch SS prop. 47kmh @ 5600 RPM. Will upgrade engine to a 150hp. Boat serves me well !

Hi Sam, I have not checked the speed at 4000RPM. Boat has a Yamaha 115hp 2 stroke with a Solas SS prop pitch 15 as suggested by the company. On a blog they recommended 175hp as the max. 150hp Yamaha or a Suzuki (4 stroke) with SS prop 19-21 pitch will be fine for speed. It came with an aluminium prop of 17 pitch. I have requested for a 19. Boat is in Sri Lanka.
