I am just now able to try this recipe and realize I still need a little translation help. The liquids used, are they soy sauce and black vinegar? Also, I am assuming that is sugar that she is adding later but then thought it may be salt. Can someone confirm if it is sugar for me. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you. : )

Thanks for this great video. I can understand most of what you are doing without knowing the language. I was wondering about how long to let if ferment and the time frame that I should use it up by. I think you basically put the amount you want and then use the liquid to keep it covered. You could always make more liquid if you have a lot of coriander. I just wonder what to eat it with? I just made it without understanding but I think I got it mostly right, give or take a couple sichuan peppercorn(prickly ash). : )
