for all you who dont understand chinese, the title “add oil” is a direct translation from “加油” which means “you can do it” or “fighting!”(for all those koreaboos)

我在婴孩7个月时, 亲生母亲去世了, 我感受不到什么是母爱, 即使爸娶了个新妈妈回来, 我仍然感受不到爱, 照顾我是有的, 但与她自己的3个女儿相比之下, 付出的爱有没有？小时候的记忆难以下咽, 曾记得有次肚子饿了的时候看见正在煮泡面的妈妈, 我说自己也想吃, 可不可以也煮给我吃？她只回应我 ：这是煮给哥哥吃的(我有个同父同母的哥哥*), 哥哥有为家里贡献, 帮粑粑做工, 你要吃就自己煮。现在回想起来, 我小学中学直到我离开家里, 妈妈都没准备早餐给我带去学校, 都是爸给我的零用钱买食物吃。现在妈妈却给她自己的女儿带去上班的爱心早餐, 我该讽刺还是接受自己是不相对待的？我不爱回家, 也不喜欢回家, 回家待久了会不自在, 想法谈吐也不同...现在她的孩子也出社会工作了, 依然在家里得到最好的保护。而我在另一个远离家乡的城市继续过活, 我的另一半很疼我, 是不是我也该谢谢当初爸对他的一番嘱咐说 ：我们没能力照顾好她, 你帮我照顾她。 我现在已是33岁了, 时间它过得好快, 过不去的心坎怎么还尚在？

Sometimes, when I'm at my lowest from the feeling of being left out by my family, I'd tell myself that I can be at somewhere worse than where I am right now. I live under a roof, I have a bed in my own room, I have clothes to keep me warm,I have food, more than enough for me and clean water to drink. If you keep on searching for happiness in the things you don't have, then you will never find true happiness.

I was always jealous of my brothers they were smart played instruments and sports and I was none of that and every time my parents speak with friends they brag about my brothers and never about me they would say what college my oldest brother is in and that he plays 6 instruments and is sooo smart and he will be a dentist and my other brother that he is strong and smart and plays 2 sports and nothing about me. I told them that I wanted to be a kpop idol and they didn't think I could even do it my mom would tell me that I can't even sing good or dance good. And my oldest brother actually wanted to be a kpop idol once so he learned Korean started playing all these instruments and started to learn how to dance when he was younger and my dad would always yell at me when I complain about playing piano and he would yell if you want to be a kpop idol you have to learn an instrument and have to be like your brother and all of that stuff I would feel even more sad and think in the future that I will be living in the streets homeless jobless and one of my brothers said that I will beg him for money when we are older. Just thinking of that makes me sad I'm Korean but I'm not even fluent I never played any instruments or sports or had good grades. I would practice singing and dancing but I would always be to scared to show them because they would probably laugh at me. But later on my dad went to Korea and payed 200 dollars to a fortune teller asking my brothers future and telling them how good they are and all of that stuff but not about me but the fortune teller asked my dad don't you have a daughter and my dad said yes and he told him I will be more successful than two boys I was happy to hear that but sad that he wouldn't even talk about me. That's why I would always be so insecure I always tried to look prettier always try to make my skin look better buy clothes and everything but I go to school and see people make fun of my eyes or what I'm wearing it makes me feel the same way at home I never had good friends I am to scared of my friends to tell them this they are harsh possessive and when they get mad at me I wouldn't yell back because I would be to scared and everytime they would make fun of me and than aks me If I was mad I would smile and tell them I was okay but I was never okay cause of them or my family...

For some reason this made me appreciate my mother more and what she does for me.

all the short films like this , in the end they realized that there moms loves them , but for me i don't think that day will ever come.

I cried and I went to my mom, she asked me why I was crying. She questioned if I was hurt but I told her it was a really meaningful and emotional video, then she said I was having problems and she was going to take my phone.

Growing up in a family of 5 siblings, I never felt that my mom loved me, I was there to mind my siblings, take care of them etc while my mom was overwhelmed with the children, a husband who drank & she was in a country with no friends or family, much later in life I realized just how much she loves me & both my parents did the best they could
