Basically Grip - Grip below the armpit so that it's harder for them to break the grip. It's also useful when facing off against larger opponents because when they grab your collar, you can break the grip by punching your arm through. It's also useful for creating the range for the Seoi Nage The carry - There are a lot of people that carry their opponents on their SHOULDERS. The problem with this is that the opponent can actually slip out through the opposite direction. To prevent this, make sure that you're pinching their arm with the crook of your elbow, and not your shoulder. Also, when you enter the throw, raise their arm up with your gripping hand in order to create space to punch through. Finally, the elbow of the arm that is punching through shoulder be at CHEST LEVEL, your elbows should not be above your shoulders. Your elbows should also not be in front of you, it should be lined up along your chest like you are flat against a wall. Posture - Your upper body posture should be upright when entering the throw. The problem with entering with a bent over posture is that it creates too much space between your back and their chest. By having a good posture when entering the throw, it makes it much easier to carry the opponent on your back. The first step - Your first step should be a foot's length away DIAGONALLY from your opponent's foot. You should step on the toes as if you are flat-footed on your heels you cannot pivot your hips into place smoothly Foot placement - I often seen people with their toes angled inwards, or their stance being too wide or too narrow. But ideally your stance should be SHOULDER WIDTH apart and pointing forwards. You should use the power of your lower body in a spring motion when doing the throw. You cannot do this if you are on your heels however, you need to be on the ball of your foot. By being on the ball of your foot, you can extend your lower body with force and have it act like a spring Your sight - Your eyes should point in the direction that you are throwing them. LOOK FIRST THEN THROW

Break the balance pulling up and towards you. Create the space for the right arm to enter bicep to bicep. Get your arm in tight close to opponents armpit. Footwork must be on your toes so you can pivot. You must keep your feet inside your opponents I.e not spread wider. Turn the hip FULLY in and round. A half turn isn't going to work you must commit. Bend knees, look up forwards where your going to throw and Spring knees up. Must stay on toes throughout throw. I'm not an expert but have thrown this successfully against larger and smaller opponents.

I've very good at this throw. It's really the only pure judo throw I know. I was taught by USMC when I was 10 on a Navy base on Guam. Somehow they knew this throw would really make a difference and I have used at least 4 times to put down an attacker and flee. One point, when I say taught I mean they made me practice every day and used pain to reinforce mistakes. But my move is so much more violent then these. My goal is to get my opponent as high as i can by bumping my hip. Your opponent rolls across and down your legs. in my move once i have him in the air I want to strike him with the earth. I always knock the wind out of my guy and in real danger i was told to not let go of his arm to try to break or dislocate an arm. What style did they teach me? Combat judo?
@HuyConWargaming
@HuyConWargaming 3 года назад
well, I'd say that the goal is the same in terms of the shape of the throw and the trajectory of the uke. In the demonstration near the end you can see that the uke is thrown with a lot of force and height and is definitely not a roll across and down the leg. You aren't being taught a different "style" of judo as even in regular judo you are also taught to hold on to the arm and continue to newaza which can include armbars and chokes. If you're knocking the wind out of people it's likely that you're throwing them and dumping them on the mat without taking care of them by a) completing the throw totally b) not holding the arm up to reduce the force of the fall.

+wertwos1 he said. Turn your body all the way around. Keep your back straight, eyes forward. Keep you legs about shoulder width apart cause you have power there. Make sure your first step lands on the toes so you can pivot. Get lower than your opponent and throw.
