This song was composed by JJ Lin in 2001 for A-mei which was a big hit for her. Later JJ debuted as a singer in 2003.

He just completed his 1st round of 20yrs world tour concert including US, Europe, Asia and Australia 1st half of this year.

It's funnt that she can give so much detail on what is happening but when you see those singing competitions in western TV, the coaches only know how to say "this is amazing"

You are spot on how this is more traditional. It's because this is actually an older song than the last one. Even though the caption said 2010, But actually he wrote this song a long time ago for another singer, it was first released in 2001.

he wrote this song for amei 张惠妹, a female singer from taiwan. you can react to that too. she's an absolute lengend. she is the pioneer to jj lin. this song is older than 2010. it's damn sad. in a nutshell, it's about a broken promise to be tgt forever.

She could actually pick out the difference in the compositions between this song (virtually JJ's 1st hit composition for A-mei, not even himself, and hence still very classical sounding) and She Says that is written more than a decade later when JJ was arguably at the start of his epitome for writing ballads and a much more delicately beautiful composition. For this song, the version to listen is preferably his opening for JJ20 where the arrangement is updated and his singing well no need to say.

看到老师说歌手演唱时使用情绪太过了，好奇之下去搜了这首歌的背景故事：歌曲《记得》的灵感是来源于林俊杰17岁时和女朋友因为感情问题而产生的一次吵架，他和他的初恋女友因为各自有各自要追寻的梦想，所以不得不分开。他不知道自己和她还能走多远，于是带着这样的情绪写出了这首歌。 在创作的过程中，林俊杰带着自己和自己相爱的人被迫分开的无奈谱曲，以悲伤为基调，节奏较为缓慢。而与此同时《记得》这首歌也记录下了林俊杰当兵时，对事业或感情抱持着单纯和执著的态度。它永远提醒着林俊杰，那应该是做音乐不改变的心态。
