Stray dog may also be how his an outcast of the yakuza in 0,since he got kicked out of dojima family,kazama is in prison and if he went to visit kashiwagi or nishiki he would endager them,thus leaving him alone on the streets like a stray dog
I love how perfect of a theme this is for Kiryu. He won't ever take bribes or be put "in his place." He's gonna follow his heart and do what's right, and you better stay out of his way.
Background: spent 100 hours in Y0, then Kiwami 1 and then 2. By Kiwami, I found NIshiki to be an asshole traitor. Then replayed at Legend Y0, knowing what would happen that night in 2005 and it started clicking. Fuck me, as soon as I get the NIshiki part i turn into a baby.
@@jj.varada9578 didn’t originally. Kiryu goes to jail thinking he is saving NIshiki. But without Kiryu, NIshiki is lost and gets corrupted / manipulated / unhinged. He needed his brother and that’s what Kiryu regrets in YK2.
