The 3rd-gen Acura Integra has gained popularity on the mountain pass, due to its tuning potential, aftermarket support, and lightweight chassis. In this Touge Review, we take it for a POV test drive to see its performance on a canyon run.
Is the Honda Integra a relic of the JDM past - can it compete with modern sports cars when racing on the mountain road, track, and street? This particular one comes stocked with some mods:

Mmmmm, one of the best DOHC 4-banger sounds out there. Though some may not believe it, a too-noisy exhaust gets tiring as a daily driver. Look forward to your next review, I'd like to see more vehicles and maybe even some oddball cars! ;)

I realize this video is old however you should definitely try this in a DC2 whether that be a GSR or Type R integra and see the differences. I currently have a GSR and with the VTEC B18C1 power is definitely not an issue when canyon carving. So far I’ve been able to keep up with multiple newer, more powerful, sports cars when going on these crest/canyon runs

Motor Trend, /DRIVE, and other channels like that have reviews in the specs and numbers section on point. But one thing they're really missing is driver feedback, and that's exactly what I like about these types of videos. I love how I can watch this series of videos and am able to see both how the car performs from a first person POV _and_ I get to hear what the driver thinks about it as it's happening. If I had to recommend another car for you to review, maybe a 5th gen Celica (one of the FWD ones since the 4WD All-Tracs are super hard to come by) or a Lexus IS300. Keep it up! I definitely want to see more.

even without vtec you still get the respects because you have a integra but if you turbo it ls you get even more respect even if you don't have the vtec love all integra

I'd like to see your opinion on a Saturn SC2 5 speed. They are 124hp dohc, and they weigh around 2400lbs. They're pretty fun on the touge, I used to run one on coilovers.

I like that this review is done with a first person POV. But in regards to the review, I feel like if you're going to do numerical ratings and categories, you ought to have more categories to give a better "image" of a car. Quickness and practicality is a bit vague. I mean yes you talked about the overall handling of the car, but I'd like to see more numbers and categories if you're going to use them. But I like this, I'm stoked for more of these.

+Ridge Chaser 4th gen is the all around best prelude. Lighter than the 4th. Preludes brakes are the same or around the same size as the ITRs brakes also.

preludeF20Bking does the 5th gen have more space? I'm 6'2" and I want a 5th gen but I was wondering how the 4th gen is because I hear it's basically the same but the 5th gen has more room.. I'm getting either one but I just wanted to know which has more space..

I think the late 90s - early 2000s Ford Mustang GT would make for an interesting review. It's a very common car to find that is usually sold for a very cheap price, around 5 grand or so. It's RWD with a 4.6 V8 with tons of tuning capability, but 260hp is a good spot for beginner drivers.

The advantage that older cars (early 2000's, 90's, 80's) have over newer cars is weight difference. Newer cars will definitely be safer with heavier chassis to prevent death in a car crash and most of the time it will have a lot of electronics, but all this weighs a lot. If you compare a 2015 WRX STI to a 1999 GC8 WRX STI, there is a difference of 325 kg (GC8 weighs: around 1200 kg 2630lbs) (WRX STI weighs around 1525kg 3362lbs)

Damn, I wouldn't be surprised if some of that weight came from sizing up the wheels to fit wider tires. Either way, the weight difference is one of the may reasons I prefer earlier cars.

Yeahhh dude! That's such an angry road. The view's so nice, and then you look down and you're like OH YEAH, THAT'S AN 80FT DROP AND DEATH, BETTER DRIVE. After many a hour on google maps, I found a rather angry road myself that my buddies and I plan on hitting soon. Anyways, great content as usual! Just keep the tires on the pavement.

Nice video. I have a couple suggestions for cars that I haven't seen mentioned in the comments yet. For fwd there's the 4th/5th gen prelude with an H22 and the dodge neon SRT-4, both give a slightly different fwd taste... but for a heavier/higher horsepower FWD you could just review the Mk6, it's a GTI right?

It's true, one video per week will help this channel grow quite a lot. At this point, two weeks allows me time for filming and editing, and it ensures that I don't run out of footage for the next release. Perhaps in the future if I make money from these videos I can move to a every-week schedule. Either way, it's the real supporters like you who keep this channel alive

It's good that you're finding areas where you don't need to brake! Start mastering left-foot braking if you haven't already, it's a must for these lightweight FFs. It's frustrating not being able to keep up with high-powered cars in the straights/uphills but in the end it doesn't matter

A standard model 7th Gen Civic greatly benefits from getting a rear sway bar upgrade, try one out of an EP3 So or DC5 RSX Premium or Type-S

In addition to being a daily driver and autocross combo It'll also double as a camera car for my car channel vids as well as a touge runner every now and then.
