Hi Megan, I followed you for quite a time on Insta and I just discovered your RU-vid channel. Loving it! I'm also an eurasian but living in Paris. The Chinatown in Paris has more history than the others because it is mostly lived by refugees from the Vietnam War during the late 1970s, and most refugees was refugees from China so we call it 越南華僑，they speak cantonese, mandarin, vietnamese and cambodian :) So that's why products are more inspired from 東南亞 . I think it's a very interesting mix ;)

Almost anything from France are similar to Hong Kong, even there are able to celebrate Chinese New Year. 🏮🐅 Both lion dance (舞獅) and dim sum (點心) are significant for this traditional festival, also magnificent for a fusion of Chinese and French cultures, too. 🦁 Bonjour, Mademoiselle (Miss) Megan.

I was so surprised! I thought it was going to be similar to London Chinatown (filled with tourists) but Paris Chinatown has so many authentic stores and supermarkets!!

Very cool to see the Chinese community in Paris There’s a bustling community too here in Madrid if you all ever stop by - even a small handful of Hong Kong restaurants 😄

I will definitely stop by the Chinatown in Paris when I visit Paris. and try HK style cuisine…my favorite. I am surprised the Chinatown is that significant in Paris.

Hi Megan and Elliott, What a treat!!! Thank you for a great tour of Chinatown in Paris 🗼. I see that the supermarket carries "White Rabbit" candy 🍬!! Another fantastic video as the dim sum and fried noodles and wonton noodle soup looks good. Thank you for the tips on conversation of proof of Covid vaccine to the one in France and the associated costs. I totally agree with you as the cost of the roasted seaweed was expensive. Very nice HK style dim sum in Paris. I like how you ordered the beef chow fun and they understood what you wanted. I was in HK 5 years ago and I ordered the same way you did and the waiter didn’t know what I was asking for. My nephew ordered beef dry noodle in English and he got it. I was like I asked for that dish in Cantonese and you didn’t understand me? Hilarious!! Where’s your next Chinatown stop, Amsterdam?
