Vlog #263! Can three ABC (American born Chinese) girls speak Cantonese for a day? My brain used all its of power to come up with all the conversational Cantonese phrases used throughout the day. Judging by the girl's pronunciation of "toast" in Cantonese, I am going to say the girls are speaking HK Cantonese. Mainland Cantonese uses a lot of words from Standard Mandarin Chinese but pronounced with Cantonese pronunciations. HK Cantonese uses a lot of words from British English but again, pronounced with Cantonese pronunciations.
