Children that are in bed,
Ride on the ark of dreams.
Sadness during these times can be discarded.
By tomorrow, things have changed.
If I were to be reborn,
And had a different life,
I would want to be free and to soar in the blue sky.
I would like to become a bird.
Having once loved, I have been hurt
So deeply that I wanted to die as I cried.
In this world, I was only given
The burden of tears.
Such is the reality of life.
At dawn on the glass window pane,
Soft sunlight shines through.
It is time to prepare for the future.
Today, I will awaken
To face the chance meetings and separations
That form a part of human destiny.
Only when something is beautiful, like flowers,
Will I let it in remain as a memory of my past.
Having once loved, I have been hurt
So deeply that I wanted to die as I cried.
My heart and body cannot be split apart,
but the past can be abandoned.
