折り紙で作る実用的な箱です。今回は、末広ユニットの第３弾です。同じ末広ユニットを使って蝶結びとは別の組み方にすることで幾何学的な「まんじ」の模様が現れます。末広ユニットは組み方や組み合わせを変えることで、本当に色々なバリエーションの箱が作れます。
箱本体に折り紙４枚、ふたに４枚、合計８枚の折り紙で作ります。薄い折り紙でも丈夫な仕上がりになります。組み方を変えることで全く違う模様になるのが面白いところです。折り紙の裏面は出ないので、裏面の色は気にする必要はありません。

A practical box made from origami. This is the third installment of the Suehiro unit. By using the same Suehiro unit and tying it in a different way than the bow knot, a geometric "swirl" pattern appears. By changing the way the Suehiro unit is assembled and its combinations, you can create a wide variety of boxes.
Make a total of 8 pieces of origami, 4 pieces for the box body and 4 pieces for the lid. Even thin origami will have a durable finish. What's interesting is that you can create completely different patterns by changing the way you put them together. The back side of the origami will not show, so there is no need to worry about the color of the back side.
