I know about Sagume's ability and all, but where's the logic in all of this happening from her asking if Futo was going to start a fire and deciding that it was none of her business?
Due to the fact she visited a bunch of other characters before visiting the shrine "It has nothing to do with her" even though it was all of the other characters activities that started the chain of events. So since she saw Seiran when she was yelling the yell scared Futo to run... leading to Okuu's Hot Spring forming and so forth... So even though it was more or less bad phrasing due to her ability she caused the Taoist Temples destruction.

It's her own fault for being terrible at physical combat (according to Akyuu) and also for always forgetting her Pagoda. Ichirin has nothing to do with this >:[
FreakerCamper Nor ZUN ? Watch Shou in Burning Meiling, and you'll see ! Btw, Patchouli is terrible at physical combat and yet she's playable only in fighters. Stage 5 bosses are also known to be playable in main games.
+Bravigaufre I've always found that the reason behind a character becoming playable isn't the stage number. It's related to the character's personality either being an eager, jump head-first into frenzy (like Futo), an abnormal curiosity (Patche and Alice) or having one of those damn whimsical mistresses (Sakuya, Youmu, Sanae). Shou has none of these traits. Even if Ichirin wasn't playable, everyone in Myourenji aside from Kyouko would've had better chances of being playable than Shou.
Wait! Isn't Sagume's ability to reverse the situation by speaking? Isn't that illegal because of the Spellcard rules, just like Remilia's changing the fate ability?
Remilia Scarlet that ability of hers is tied to who she is. It's completely passive and she can't control it (other than speaking the exact opposite of what she was going to say), unlike remilia who can just ignore her power
