Upload #25
J&B's a relatively poorly documented circle, possibly for good reason - they're a curious case of a circle that's clearly able to make good stuff, but refuses to do it consistently.
I get that good music is subjective (see comments on [E1,#017]), but I'd define good music as something has some sense of novelty, catchiness, or mood-setting quality. The vast majority of J&B's discography has none of that, coupled with (generally) off-tune vocals.
(For better or worse, if they enjoyed making tracks of said genre, good on them for it - there's nothing worse than making people bend over to meet public demand. I just wish it weren't the case.)
One thing they do have is a quiet acoustic arrange at the end of most of their albums. They're usually fairly plain, but I'd say that more or less all of them are comfy and high quality enough to fit the standards for an E1 upload on this channel.
As for how J&B's doing now, their webpage page is now defunct and they haven't made anything new since 2012 or so, but the arranger for this track and the other acoustic tracks (mcn) still exists at x.com/mcn_s - looks like they mostly just do FFXIV things nowadays though, so for all intents and purposes, it's a dead circle.

Side note, this upload is actually edited from the source material. There was some unnecessary extra distortion at the end of the original that made the track difficult to listen to for purposes of winding down, so I cut that part and replaced it with a fade out. Purest Sky and Sea is one of my favorite tracks (courtesy of Concealed the Conclusion), so I'd say it's well worth the effort, despite there being many other options for upload.
As for the picture, I was going to use a certain image by the artist 幻騒アぽろ, but it turns out that image was used as cover art for another album; ended up turning to Stable Diffusion again for policy consistency.

Ramblings of the week:
I butchered my sleep cycle some time about a month ago, so I got a hammock (bug net and all) with the intention of using it on my back porch to sleep in on late night/early morning weekends/days off. (Gotta get that Vitamin D and fresh air, you know?)
July 4th was one of those rare occasions (not to mention the fact that I was busy with new content from a certain mobile game the previous night), so I got everything set up early in the morning (pillow, blanket, water bottle, music player with a sleep playlist, eyemask) and conked out on my back porch.
It worked, maybe a little too well. It's probably my fault for racking up so much sleep debt to begin with, but there's something inherently depressing about going to take a nap on your day off and waking up to crows cawing, the sun going down, and obligatory back and neck aches from sleeping in a hammock for that long.
...That, and the fact that I actually had to get out of the hammock. Surprisingly difficult task without feeling like you're about to punch or rip a hole in the hammock, or cramping up from using your elbows instead of hands for weight distribution.
As to how that relates to this video, not really much at all, but there was supposed to be a July 4th upload (E5) here. There was no July 4th for me though (and I'm feeling more like an E1 than an E5 right now), so there's no July 4th E5 upload here. Maybe next year.

Completely unrelated to the above, but the ads on RU-vid are starting to get worse and worse, and they're starting to block my adblocker, which is a huge pain and related to why I took my extended break from uploading in the first place. Was briefly thinking about moving platforms, but it looks like opening up devtools (to try to reverse-engineer the ad feeding) somehow blocks the adblocker blocker on my end. Guess this channel lives for a while longer.
