東海道本線新垂井線車窓 特急しらさぎ 

東海道本線大垣〜関ヶ原間で垂井駅を経由せずに北側を迂回する路線。正式には東海道本線の下り線扱いですが、通称「新垂井線」と呼ばれている急勾配緩和路線で、垂井駅に停車しない下りの特急や貨物列車のみが運行されています。
かつては途中に新垂井駅が設置されており、下りの普通列車が1日に数本停車していましたが、1986年に廃止され、現在は特急と貨物列車のみの運行となっています。
The line between Ogaki and Sekigahara on the Tokaido Main Line without passing through Tarui Station and goes around the north side. Officially it is treated as the down bound line of the Tokaido Main Line, but it is commonly known as the "Shin-Tarii Line", a gradient reduction line, and only down bound limited express and freight trains that do not stop at Tarui Station run on it.
There used to be a Shintarui Station on the way, and several down bound local trains stopped there each day, but it was abolished in 1986, and now only limited express and freight trains run on it.
