Great idea and amazing execution. I'm thinking about starting this hobby but just like you I don't have enough space. Your idea to make it easy to store is great!
A typical Japanese model railway, in this case using a lot of Kato products. (Featuring the 1980's-90's era). Note the high percentage of EMU (Electric Multiple Units), included in this owners rolling stock. A reflection of the real railway. Many Japanese EMU's have very unusual designs, particularly the Express types. The variety of model trains to choose from is itself staggering. Even supermarkets sell model trains in Japan. So Japan has more model train fans than the whole of the rest of the world put together. A reflection on their mind boggling real railway network. Indeed the worlds busiest station is Tokyo Shinjuku with over 3.4 Million passengers per day !!!
Thank you for your comment. It's a blessing to be able to enjoy model trains in Japan, where not only the railways themselves but also a unique railway model culture has developed.
Thank you for your comment! N scale is most popular railroad model in Japan. Unfortunatly, I have never seen Japanese brand N sclale model sold in Brazil. Hopefully, you may find a shop who can handle oversea shipping on the Internet. For layout diagram, please check on this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tOS-XH0avKU.html It is not detailed one but anyway you can find a diagram. I hope you enjoy railroad models!
Hello. Can you please provide the track piece listing for building your 1800mm x 600mm layout? Or better yet a plan if you have it? I have absolutley fallen in love with it but I'm new to the hobby and I'm struggling a lot with the design! Thank yuo a lot in advance!
Sorry, I made this layout without planning, so I don't have a layout plan or a track list. So I don't know where I used what kind of tracks. I think it's best to just try making a layout without thinking too hard about it. Sorry for the late reply.
