I am preparing to take HSK3. Therefore, your lessons are very helpful to acquire Chinese naturally. I am teaching English, and I have learned some theories of learning language. You just get them right by providing comprehensible inputs. It would be better if there is a session in which you explain the new vocabulary in each lesson. Anyway, 谢谢 老师!

Thanks a lot for your question! In this case 虽然 means "even though" and 所以 "therefore". In English they are implied but in Chinese they are necessary: 那天虽然他吃饱了，但是⾯条太⾹了，所以他吃了两碗。 Nà tiān suīrán tā chī bǎo le, dànshì miàntiáo tài xiāng le, suǒyǐ tā chī le liǎng wǎn. That day (even though) he felt full but the noodles were so tasty he (therefore) ate two bowls.
