郡山駅（福島県郡山市）から会津若松駅（福島県会津若松市）を経由し新津駅（新潟県新潟市）までの175.6kmを結ぶJR磐越西線。特に川桁～磐梯町の区間は大きく左右にカーブを描きつつ、雄大な磐梯山の麓を通り抜けます。今回は、会津地方を象徴するこの雄山の麓を駆ける列車を8本撮影しました。
The JR Ban-etsu West Line runs 175.6km from Koriyama Station (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) to Niitsu Station (Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture) via Aizu-Wakamatsu Station (Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture). In particular, within the section between Kawageta and Bandaimachi, the line curves left and right as it passes through the foot of the majestic Mt. Bandai. This time, I took videos of 8 trains running at the foot of this mountain, which is a symbol of the Aizu region.
