Your model is amongst the few that field the correct types of aircrafts. Japanese carriers did not usually mix torpedo bombers and dive bombers on the same deck. Congratulation.
Personally I think the JMSDF should make a modern day Akagi successor aircraft carrier. Such an iconic ship, sure it was used during WW2 but it doesn't effect its significance.
The Akagi looks so STEAM PUNK! It's almost like somebody made a carrier out of something else and left over steal girdles from a bridge construction project.
@@johnbockelie3899 So were the Lexington and Saratoga, but the Akagi managed to do it in a manner that looks totally Steam Punk. It looked like a ship with two bath tubs and a bunch of railway bridges on top!
@@dwightlooi Japanese Battleships always had a built up look to them, those pagoda structures made a good target for shooting at. Akagi led the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. I do believe she was sunk in the battle of Midway. Look at her lower hull, and you can see the cruiser shape to it. Japan " Make her into an aircraft carrier, just pile the stuff in to make it work". Imagine what the I.J.N. thought about her when she was completed.
@@dropupppuHD That's ok....Know this... Akagi...Hiryu...Kaga...Soryu... ALL SUNK. US wins battle of Midway...Yamamoto later assassinated and Pearl Harbor is AVENGED.. !!!! Hiroshima...Nagasaki.....DESTROYED. .. US wins the War... .....And that as they say is THAT !!!! *** Drinking a SAKI ( Sake) toast as I write this..
