If Rosé was "safe" to collaborate with any male artist outside of YG, it would be someone from SHINee. By and large, Shawols are pretty chill and mature. For example, SHINee and IU interacted on IU's Palette, without any hiccups. IU named Onew as her fave male vocalist, and I'd say 99% of Shawols felt nothing but pride. There was no delulu shipping, or wild rumors. I suspect we're all too old for this sh*t LOL When Netflix Korea said SHINee was the staff pick for the very first variety show episode, Key asked if "there was no one under the age of 30" on their team LMAO There are, of course, Shawols in their teens. And I hope there will be many more, because SHINee will be relevant in the years to come. But I suspect our average age is >25 years. We got no time for delulu-ism, and shipping, based on two people merely being in the same room and breathing the same air LOL

Crazy how he's not even wearing earphones. His voice control is insane. I remember that time where he got vocal cord(?) surgery and when he was able to sing after that, it was so emotional. Can you imagine losing this voice?
This is why talented artists in different agencies need to collaborate more. That was a joy to listen to. No one was trying to outdo anyone, just two singers blending their unique vocal colors seamlessly.

Usually Rośe’s voice doesn’t really blend in with her co singer when she does duets, because it’s so distinct and strong. But now finally, she found her match. Their voices blends well together. And finally she got to do her dream of having an acoustic duet with a man.
I wonder if it’s their voices naturally fitting or Onew’s experience so he’s changing his voice to suit her’s. Though I do notice her also changing her voice slightly when she sings alone as to when they sing together. Like that nasal(?) effect is less when they sing together. Perhaps it’s a bit of both.
Finally Rosé fulfill one of her dreams to have a duet. As far as i remember Rosé mention on jyp’s party people that she wanted to have a duet on a guy and now it happened!!!!! Rosé and Onew’s voice blend perfectly its like heaven. Rosé and Jinki saranghae
I'm not familiar with Onew but when I stumbled in IU palette with Shinee because of Jhope guesting. I started looking for more Onew singing. I really love how he can touch you with his voice.
It’s crazy how their voices blended so well considering how they both have unique vocal tone. So far, Onew gotta be Rosé’s best duet partner after 10cm (for that year end stage collab back in 2016).
Rosé in this project so well and in different ways showed her vocal abilities. She has such a unique and inimitable voice that it cannot be confused with anyone. Onew sounds good with Rosé, I really liked their duet.

Cast members take customer orders, and serve food etc. In Jinki and Suhyun's case, they also perform. They have rotating guests, or "part timers". Rosé is the first.
It really surprised me that even though they did so well to blend their voices together, she was still able to keep her unique tone and make it harmonious with her partner

Onew is one of the best male vocalist from SM entertainment and Rose from YG. Not surprised if they are doing great. And I think Onew has a good technique for control and blend his voice for Rosé, because her tone quite unique and hard to find someone can blend with her voice ❤
I don't want to be misunderstood but SHINee's main vocal is Jonghyun. It will always stay this way. Before, now and forever. Onew is our lead vocalist and leader of the unique group.
onew is not only an amazing vocalist but also very skilled at leveling himself to match whoever he is singing with range never overpowering but balancing to create a perfect harmony.

yaaaaaaaaa moreover somehow this version sounds like cute kids/young adults/almost adults singing it while the old one sounds like old adults (in their 30s) singing it. this version kind of sounds innocent. maybe because lena park was around 35 at that time and here onew is just 31 while rose is 24 (onew was in his 20s at that time) no wonder onew makes no mistakes while singing the lyrics.
