Very good point on pedestrian has priority if they are already crossing, this is mentioned in highway code. 😉 Also good point on being more patience, patience and drive carefully = pass.
Canaan, for theory test hazard perception test there are 14 questions. 13 questions you can land maximum 5 marks, depends on how early and accurate you can view your score. 1 question has 2 hazards, up to 10 points. Not as many as 70+ hazards.
try to drive out from a roundabout on a heavy foggy day/night! Once I was in one at night and it was really challenging to try to see clearly the exit sign at a few feet from my car! Luckily all the drivers were driving at walking speed.
This roundabout is very confusing. I heard now you can use satnav GPS for your driving test. My UK driving license also automatic license. My Malaysia driving license was manual license but was expired long time ago.
Hi Canaan, really thanks for your sharing of driving experience. I kinda worry about getting a driver license in UK, but it seems quite inconvenient if I don’t have it ... 😔 May I how much you spent of getting the license ?
@@Dancerc I have my driving licence over 20 years but I only drove under 5 times, since I hate the HK drivers attitude. I think I will need to overcome and drive in UK after I arrive😅
I think it's best to check some reviews online about driving instructors. I heard that there's discount for a family to travel together on bus but I haven't done a research on it. And yes for train!
Yes. Best if you still got the "yellow paper", if not then ask the transport department for the letter to say you passed your test in Hong Kong, as there had been issues with other nationalities changing licence without test in Hong Kong.
The better looking once would cost a little bit more, they are really big! Nevertheless it's still in town centre next to a main road. Not an ideal location.
