Hey Chef! I made this shrimps yesterday on birthday. Did not expect it is soooo sweet and tons of sugar. I thought it was a sasrter, not dessert LOL. Btw don't you have any recipe with yellow bean paste? Cause i have big jar of this and i dunno what to do with it LOL.
Nice to hear from you again , my Russian viewer. Yes, that was sweet honey loaded shrimp cooking this time. Is your yellow bean paste, sweet or salty type? Thanks for watching this video.
@@HAPPYWOK my sauce is pearl river bridge crushed yellow bean sauce, www.google.com/search?q=pearl+river+bridge+crushed+yellow+bean&client=opera&hs=cAm&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=5JOzcjpNT-YjSM%252CIInt1Syv7WwNnM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTOGL_SBt_ZLjDRGyuJbgZ1zC4g7g&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiBtZnI3qLrAhXbBhAIHRiKBvoQ9QEwBXoECAoQLw&biw=1366&bih=658#imgrc=5JOzcjpNT-YjSM
@@pipendrusu_ That is a good brand. Pearl River Bridge is will known and have been around over a century now. You can use that to enhance for better tasting cooking. Add about 1 Tbsp to your stir fry cooking. When you see my recipe that call for soybean paste or chili garlic sauce, you may substitute them with this. Or add 2 to 3 Tbsp to pork short cut spare ribs or fish.
whu hau hau, shie shie, there are some hand full of people just like your suggestion. I am still thinking of it, but english is my second language, would be difficult for me to create one. Thanks for suggesting and thanks also for watching.
Happy Wok, many of your readers are native English speaking people, I am not. I am preety sure many of your followers will be pleased to send you translations of the recipes they have made. That way you can have your own book. 😊😊😊
It doesn't work good. If you have corn starch, the better. I used tapioca flour, because it cost much less than corn starch. Thanks for asking and also thanks for watching.
Wow. I love this dish but, after seeing how much fat and sugar is in it, I will make sure to only get it fresh. Sometimes those dimsum places have it going around and I buy. But for that amount of calories, I want it made just for me.
+shashquatch That is true, modern chinese cooking , are now using westernized ingredients. Yes mayonnaise is one, another one is olive oil, to name a few. Thanks for your comment.
