English subtitles are added! (edited 7/25 15:05 JST) The English subtitle is taken directly from the original English version movie. We understand that some of the phrases in Japanese are not the literal translation of English counterparts, those are done intentionally to match the length of phrases + shape of the mouth of speakers, while keeping the overall context. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
That moment when you realize the japanese voice actor for Yasuo is the same dude that voices Joseph Joestar in part 2. And that Yasuo here says he is done running. *Cries in nigerundayo*
@@jubileeosorio5321 Ive watch pro cs go but I dont know any one who is japanese same in mmorpg. Mmorpg is dominated by chinese and SEA players in asia and in the west europe has a lot. But in fighting games such as tekken thats where they shine. Also gacha games.
@@Ely-elysium well idk man, i made u "XD". PRETTY sure i nailed it. Also i just saying the english sounds way better when he ults, it actually sounds like his in game voice while the japanese one had a lag between the words and just off.
Its interesting that the script differs to fit Japanese Language better, here is few i noticed that have wholly different meaning once translated. 0:32 Yasuo : And your sword to protect Ionia, but look around you, *this is the result of that honor* (i think it just gave much more clear picture what Yone did was negligence instead of him directly staining the battlefield) This one i find most interesting 3:54 Yasuo : You're just scared. Yone : Fighting isn't everything, don't immerse yourselves only in winning 4:40 Yasuo : Let me go(fight), yone! Yone : why won't you understand... 6:27 "Killing me does nothing, i'll be reborn no matter how many times (Kinda clear up that its just his power to be reborn and there's no noun game) 7:04 "What a disappointment, what meaning is there to your honor?" Also Yone doesn't address Yasuo as brother even once in this scene, which is kinda neat. This is all that i notice kinda gives different meaning to the context as the rest have more or less same meaning with different wording. Feel free to correct me though, since my Japanese understanding is mostly from me being weebs.
@@vsksan7485 yep along the line of that, tho for clarification i meant present Yone (Demon Hunter Form), where english version have him says brother multiple times but not a single time here. Kinda open an interpretation that maybe its purely the spirit of ionia speaking there or something.
since this one doesn't have english subs: 1. Open the English / Original version in a new tab 2. Mute it 3. Turn on English CC 4. Play the 2 videos at the same time 5. Minimize this video while watching the subbed one 6. Realize that you're already too deep in the weeb hole 7. Enjoy it anyway Edit: Well, this is now obsolete, though kudos to the team for putting the subs from the original into here
Japanese dubbed anime really gives me the chill compare to the English version of this. The Japanese voices really gives the emotions of the characters
Actually this made more sense. Since the tales of the two brother that the legend of Ionia has happened to Yasuo and Yone. The legend was for the elder brother to inherit their Father's sword and protect their land, while the younger brother would inherit their Father's ship and would become a hero abroad.
You can see how Yasuo really didn't want to kill Yone at first. He used another sword that wasn't his, after Yone broke that sword, Yasuo knew Yone was actually trying to kill him so he pulled out his real sword...
