赤ん坊いっぱいいますね。昔海外ニュースで、どこかの村で象の赤ん坊を可愛い可愛いって、みんなでどっかに遊びに連れてっちゃったので、お母さんが心配して暴れたってニュースがありました。やっぱり可愛いですよね、象の赤ん坊。

@@purplelove3666 They are stressed out for their newborns and are either chained or trained not to move from their spot. The ear flapping and swaying means," get back." It is upsetting, but these are livestock, and they have a job to do. I only hope and pray they get fulfillment in there lives. They are every bit as smart as you or me, and they do experience emotions. If size matters, they feel emotions stronger than anybody.

Die Nervosität der Eltern hat mit Dauerstress zu tun! Die Einschränkungen mit dem Ketten können die Elefanten für kurze Zeit aushalten, aber das was man da sieht, ist ein Dauerstress und hat nicht mit momentane Situation nicht zu tun! Bestmmt, die ältere Elefanten werden viel belastet und sie sind psychisch krank von Dauerbelastungen! sie drehen dauernd die Köpfe! es ist sehr bedauerlich und unmoralisch!!!

I almost can’t bear to watch the mothers chained, weaving back n forth. Beautiful mammals. I like watching the elephants but it is sad to see them distressed. No laughing matter.

This is so bad they are laughing and having fun with the beautiful baby elephants while the mothers are chained and unable to move and clearly are in distress. Please remember if you go on holiday to Thailand or anywhere that have elephants for tourist reasons and any other wild animals, please, please, please do not do this and pay to help keep them in captivity and living in distress. This is so sad.

This is sick.... just look at the big elephants... they are constantly nodding their heads... That means they are suffering from acute stress, depression and boredom.... All the elephants are mentally ill ... they must be immediately sent to an elephant reserve camp where there is ample of space to roam around with lots of other elephants.... These elephants can suddenly become aggressive because of their mental condition and when that will happen those uneducated and illiterate villagers who have captured those elephants will blame it on the elephants and will kill them... Whose fault is it ? And I would like to ask all the people who are silent about these atrocities on innocent animals... would you all remain silent if you happen to witness any atrocities on your near and dear ones ?

I don't know if they've lost their minds. Did you see at 0:27 the elephant taking a drink from the hose all by himself holding the hose with his trunk and putting it to his mouth? An elephant has to still have their bearings to be able to do that

The constant weaving of the older elephants is indicative of extreme mental anxiety and stress. They should be taken away from there and allowed into a large acreage reserve.

I was wondering why they were swaying back and forth like that. I also noticed the hook but noticed he turned it the other way. I'm going to assume the use of the non blunt end on the babies at first... sigh. Although, I will say I did like the video of the mischievous behavior of the two babies. 😉

This is wrong. Look at the pain of the mother elephant. It would be her natural instinct to control what her baby does and move away from interaction when she decides. The instinct is suppressed, and she is in a neurotic state. She is trapped and we can only imagine what would happen if she showed normal protectiveness. The other adults display the same symptoms. These are not cute toys for our entertainment, they have very complex emotions and intelligent minds. Their cuteness can only be enjoyed when they are happy. They need lots of space to roam freely in a wild environment or an authentic replication.

Not to mention that they clearly use hooks on the elephants which you had see in the mahouts hand when he taps the babies. If you want to see elephants in Thailand there are plenty that are ethical and cruelty free. Please do your research and put these torture factories out of business!

I agree . Tourists should understand and not encourage such places. The mahout is literally behaving bad with the baby by pushing it with water hose. There is a bull hook in hand as well. Mother elephants shows clear sign of mental stress.

Abuse is what it is. Sticks, chains this isn't a good place. The David Sheldrik Wildlife Foundation is a great charity to support. Another one is elephant nature park in Thailand., you can volunteer there so you get to see how they are really treated. This place here makes me sick.

Lovely babes doing what babies love to do - explore. But the swaying of several older eles shows distress. Perhaps it's what we don't see when public isn't around. Enclosure is dreadfully small and may get even smaller after public leaves. Please... help these eles!

The fact that the mature elephants are chained is not a good sign! It’s very selfish of those tourists to support what goes on there by their attendance! The babies are very cute but soon enough they’ll be chained also! If you can’t find a sanctuary that doesn’t chain their animals, refrain from going!!! Anand let them know why you’re not going in once you make your inquiry!!

She's going mad from confinement and being unable to walk freely. the largest mammal on earth (land) and she's chained like thousands of others. I've even seen babies chained and bobbing back and forth from boredom and confinement. And the temple elephants. Terrible.

Just remember that that's Thailand. In America, we don't chain our elephants up in zoos like that. The zoos let the elephants roam around and there's usually a pond for them to soak in

It’s so wrong to keep an elephant chained. The rocking back and forth means they’re stressed. They are all swaying and are all stressed. Let them go and be wild elephants in a herd the way GOD meant them to be. We’re meant to be caretakers no to enslave them.

princessalvina11 I understand that baby elephants are playful and that there can be translation difficulties. The chains I do not understand. Also, the lack of water facilities for the elephants. Elephants like to get into water and wallow around, besides the fact of needing water to drink. Could there be a drinking water facility there in the enclosure?

It is abuse! Why do you think the elephant is moving back and forth? It’s a sign of stress. They aren’t there as entertainment! They are chained. It’s not natural for elephants to be chained up! Elephants are a herd animal and they are a very social animal! And some idiot commented about not eating meat. What has that got to do with abusing an elephant? Most people don’t eat elephant meat. Are you kidding me! This has to stop due to the FACT that elephant numbers have been steadily declining. They will become extinct if not for human encroachment on elephant habitat, it will be from poaching their ivory!

these greedy Mahouts will keep exploiting the elephants regardless if there are any tourists, they will rent them to the Loggers or force them to work on anything that they can exploit with. Shame on these humans.

This is an elephant "sanctuary" that you should definitely NOT go to. ● 1. The adult elephants are chained. ● 2. The mahouts are holding "hooks", these instruments are used for elephant abuse, a procedure called "the crush", i.e., breaking down the elephants' spirit and tortured to obey commands. ‍ I repeat, DO NOT GO to these "elephant parks"
