Pears in Mulled Wine | 香料酒煮梨
Ingredients | 食材
4 medium size Conference Pears 啤梨
100g of brown sugar 黑糖
100g pure honey/ maple syrup 純蜂蜜/ 楓糖漿
3 cups of water 清水
1 cup of white wine/ red wine 白葡萄酒/紅葡萄酒
1 cinnamon stick 桂皮
1tsp of pure vanilla extract 純香草精
1/2 tsp of mixed spices 混合香料
1 star anise 八角
2 slices of lemon peel 檸檬皮

Hi friends, Here are a few cooking tips for this recipe. 1) I use Conference Pears. They taste great and look really nice too. 2) The pears should be firm, not too ripe. 3) I like to use white wine. You can use red wine too. 4) I served the pears with vanilla coconut yoghurt this time. You can use Greek yoghurt, vanilla ice cream or rice pudding.
