I think this is the best drama ever produced. The actors, camera crew, directors, everyone involved in making this drama deserves recognition. The song really epitomizes the male leads, I don't think Lan Zhan or Wei Wuxian ever set out to be legends it's just where destiny led them. But they were such unique characters that it's hard to imagine them living normal lives. There was so much about these two characters it had to be legendary when they became friends. Not that it started out that way. It took a while for Lan Zhan to understand the morals and values of Wei Ying and up till then he was very careful about what he thought of the character of Wei Ying. The developing friendship between the two was so much a part of this drama and left us to fall in love with both of them. I love that through most of this drama that Lan Zhan refused to tolerate Wei Ying's drinking, yet in the end brought 2 jars of the Emperor's Smile to Cloud Recesses for Wei Ying. It is all part of the evolution of their friendship. There isn't a boring moment in this drama and do many side stories as well. You can't just watch it once you have to see it multiple times to really see all of what is going on besides the main story. That's what makes this drama so good. And the end left us to use our own minds as to what happened. I believe that the two of them were so tied to each other that splitting up and going separate ways was not something either could do. I think Wei Ying was willing to let Lan Zhan go back to Cloud Recesses to be the new master because he didn't want to tie down his friend. Lan Zhan though couldn't let go of his friend and let him go off on his own alone and so came back for him. They really didn't have family, Lan Zhan had his brother but he was dealing with the betrayal of his own trusted friend. Wei Ying had lost everyone and only had Lan Zhan. They needed each other because their lives didn't make sense on their own. That's why I believe it was Lan Zhan who came back for Wei Ying, and his smile says it all. I cried throughout this drama but the ending had me sobbing. Such a great drama. I hope their friendship in real life is a lot like the drama and that they stay friends forever. Because life doesn't make sense without Lan Zhan,/Wang Yibo and Wei Wuxian/Xiao Zhan. God Bless them both.
Yea….but…it’s wasn’t friendship it was love? Yea they left it ambiguous in the live action but it shows it’s a romance in other forms like the manhua and in the ORIGINAL novel all the rest was based on. Which I think adds to how tragic it was when wwx died or (‘died’ in the untamed) and came back. Cuz Lwj loved him well before then and mourned him then when he found him again with the song he made for them. The song called wangxian also shows the romance, and some of the names wwx tried to come up with for the song includes ‘wwx & lwj’s love song’. So thou the untamed left out a MAJOR plot point to the whole story it’s still there. They plan to do the same thing to heavenly officials blessing’s live action too. How they plan to leave out the fact that the hua Chong did all he did and waited for as long as hid did cuz of just a bromance I have no idea. It sad

I just finished the drama yesterday for the 15th time. Then during the night after starting "Bad and Crazy" I took a break at episode 4 and restarted The Untamed again. I can't seem to let go of the drama, almost like it's a part of me. I learn so much each time I watch it. In fact this last time I found that at the temple when Red Blade Master's body was found in the casket, you could see tears in huasiang's eyes and running down his face. It's amazing the small details you find when you see it over again. It never ceases to make me laugh, cry and want it to never end. I'll keep watching forever. Stored on my netflix and watched so many times and never tire of the ost , the storyline , characters and overall beauty of this masterpiece. An amazing cast but Zhan and Bo are my LEGENDS 💕💕💕💕💕
There is just something about this drama that touches your very soul, once you have watched it you are never the same. The actors, the script and directors/producers have made something magical. My all time favourite ❤
I'm watching this drama for the 10th time. The part that bothers me the most is that no one questions the foolish, sometimes irrational and selfish statements made by the so-called gentry clan leaders. They would say the most absurd things and everyone would jump on the bandwagon without questioning their statements or motives. There were so many things that were said that were untrue about Wei Wuxian at the banquet at the Jin's and only Mianmian and Lan Zhan spoke up in defense of Wei Ying. Jiang Cheng started to defend his brother, but caved in to those who shouted over him. It made me mad that Jiang Cheng knew how much Wen Qing and Wen Ning had done for him and his sister but didn't care if they lost their lives just so he wouldn't lose face. No one but Wei Ying questioned the absurdity of all the unnecessary killing and torture of those innocents of the Wen Clan. Most of those people were true innocents like Wen Qing and Wen Ning. Sadly even though Jiang Cheng promised Lady Wen he would always be there to help her, in the end he betrayed her, his brother and Wen Ning, not to mention himself. I wonder what things would have been like if Wei Ying hadn't sacrificed his golden core to Jiang Cheng. Would he have become more compassionate and caring, forgiving. Getting his golden core back too easily certainly didn't teach him anything. And the heads of the clans other than the Nie Clan and Lan Clan , well even though they all admitted to having treasured spiritual tools, they secretly wanted Wei Ying's spiritual tool. I mean how evil can you be, whilst proclaiming to the world that your only doing it for world peace. I have to laugh because it's still like that today. Some countries declare they have nunclear weapons to ensure the safety of the world, while banning other countries from having them . It's the same thing. I just wish Jiang Cheng had stood by Wei Ying the way Wei Ying stood by him . It was the worst betrayal of all. It literally broke my heart that Jiang Cheng wanted to kill Wen Ning and take the others back to be executed including making Wei Ying surrender the Styngian Tiger Amulet all to gain favor from those corrupt officials. If you remember before Wei Ying fell off the cliff he released the Amulet amongst these same people and they all made a mad dash killing and wounding each other in a mad dash to be the one to get the Amulet. Even after no one questioned that crazyness. It's no wonder Men Yao was able to manipulate all of them. All they wanted was power over others. That's the way it is in the world. Sad!!!!!!!!
Todos os atores dessa série fizeram um grande trabalho, mas XIAO ZHAN e WANG Yibo são os maiores astros dessa série, adorei cada episódio que assisti, gosto muito desses dois Indomáveis lindos aí.
