Just beat Arase last night. As soon as the music paused and said "FEEL THE FORCE." Arase shot at me and I dodged the bullet with the weaving dodge in Rush style. Fucking insane adrenaline rush from fighting this boss
Louis Lee I feel ya man, adding the fact that shinji is bleeding out and reina is dead, it makes you want to destroy Arase for what he’s done, this music is super fitting for that boss. 🙃
@@xdrrwas6413 of course I did. I grinded Majima every chapter until the game forced me to stop, and then I would start again as soon as he got back to town.
I never skip the intro, it’s just too good. The music, the visuals, the characters, everything. The only thing that sucks though is that the intro gives away some spoilers for the story.
Seeing Reina die made me furious. She had nothing to do with anything but Nishiki had her killed anyway. It was one of those moments where I truly felt as pissed off as Kiryu.
Same here. I got so freakin' pissed, that I focused like I never have before and almost did no damage on him. Man I had to stop playing for a few days.
The way Kiryu roars before the fight gave me massive goosebumps and adrenaline. Using rush style during it was hype, dodging bullet like a badass, except when I couldn't, I get shot like, 80% throughout the whole fight
I like to think that the reason why this song is so up-beat and sad is cause Arase brang Kiryu to his breaking point, his whole body and form taken away as the dragon within him comes to show, as he is raged out, now fully heated and ready to beat the crap out of Arase for killing his only 2 friends that was with him, he roars to show. And the dragon has risen.
I can just imagine at Evo if they announce Kiryu. Starts off with lei wulong running down the streets of kamurocho then he yells out "freeze". Kiryu slowly turns around and this song starts.
Then it goes into depth about the invasion of the Mishima Zaibatsu, leading to the reveal of a Kamurocho stage at the foot of Millennium Tower. And after the logo, you see a manhole cover rattle around and tilt open before the screen cuts to black and from underneath the cover, you hear a whisper... “Kiryu-Chan...”
@@Aura404Speed er....kiryu ain't exclusive? he's been in other consoles...like the two first yakuza games on hd for the wii u ... or project x zone 2 for the ds... and also yakuza 0 and kiwami are in PC now so i don't think there is any trouble to put him in

Arase boss fight music, its called "Turning Point" as in that point in the game *Warning : Heavy spoilers* Arase killed Reina and Shinji, this becomes a "Turning Point" for Kiryu as we can also see in the cutscene. He becomes so angry and reckless, all his focus turns towards Nishikiyama and finding Yumi.
Correction: Arase only unalived Reina, Shinji was bleeding while running with Reina from Serena. So technically Nishiki took Shinji and Arase took Reina
That fight against Arase is missing only two things. Infinite heat for this battle and legend's style colour change. Before fighting him, the "heat flames" should have been white (like in Yakuza 0) and when Kiryu screams, the flame changes to red.

This song literally played in my head when I went against Koga in Judgment. It has been one hell of a nice spin off game and I can't wait to finish it so I can play lost judgment
Im an 11 yr Old, Playing The whole Yakuza series with my Older bro, We are making a yakuza playlist, yakuza 0 - yakuza Like a dragon, when i first heard this song i felt like a god during all the boss battles while it was playing, Me and my brother was so sad after we saw Nishiki die. Rip nishikiyama-san Yakuza 0 - kiwami Made up for All he has done to kiryu.
I got gud at this game right here. Suddenly I felt like a badass. I just wish it didn’t happen over Reina’s corpse. I became a badass because of the pain Nishiki put so many people through. I wasn’t good at this game, but when I was, I had lost so much for it. Rare that a game pulls that off. :(
Parts 0:45 and from 1:00 all the way to 1:45 give me so much hype while playing the game. Arase and his moves was on the beat and he matches the song lol. One of the best boss and best soundtrack in the game.

@@BrosBGaming Touche, Touche. Good point. You also have Ryu and Solid Snake in the mix, so why not? But I just think Kiryu and Majima would be better suited in the Tekken universe, there styles are much more geared towards it. I don't think Kiryu and Majima have as much appeal to the Smash Bros universe.
Wish we knew more about this guy, they gave him such a killer theme in this game just for his only lore up until Yakuza 3 to be known as "wow this guy is a big man and scary ooo guns"
@I Need A Better Name I wouldnt be surprised if he is going to get released as a character at some point actually but if so they are probably saving him for season 3 or later
These games just explode with “Let’s fucking go energy” powerful voice acting, impact and camera angle of punches, music kicks in. Hype factor over 9000.
I could not be emotional during this fight because of the fact that the beat dropped exactly when I hit a heat action, so I just had a rave in my room instead
so i’m about ten hours into this game now & while i definitely am enjoying the story, i admit it did take me a bit of time to get fully roped in. glad i chose to stick with it though because it’s actually really good & i’m finally starting to enjoy it a lot more, also definitely gonna try out yakuza 2 & the other sequels when i’m done edit: just finished the story & wow what a goddamn ride. the ending had me in tears, i’m so glad i finally gave this game a shot
You are no longer in the colorful 80s, man when i first played kiwami after 0 it felt like a cold shower all those colorful events that happened felt like a good memory from the past and now entering to this world (kiwami) felt like a reality hit

This soundtrack is perfect, i felt both the force and power, during that boss fight. Ps: what's the name of the ost, that plays when haruka pass out, and you have to take her to Serena safe. It's too damn epic.
Different story for me. While I appreciate how hype this version is, it doesn't do as much to my emotions as the original one. This one makes me feel like kiryu is a God and he's ready to destroy just another pack of people. Original makes me feel the situation kiryu is in. His 2 close people are injured, and for me the slow (almost creepy in some way) song fits much better than the kiwami version.
Just finished the fight against Arase, this track was hype while dodging his bullets with Rush and finally beating that fucker. It reminded me of that Wesker fight from Resident Evil 5 with the way Arase is wielding dual pistols and rolling around and teleporting.
Spoilers for Yakuza Kiwami: Fighting Arase was enraging but satisfying because that POS shot both Reina and Shinji and watching Kiryu roar like the dragon has risen. Arase's design reminded me of the matrix with the longcoat and the dodging while shooting.
