Amon: this is it Kiryu, after 6 battles against you. This will be our final battle, prepare yourself! Kiryu: what the fuck are you talking about this is the second time I saw you
This sounds like kiryu's and Amon's last duel. And seeing how Kiwami 2 may be the last game we will be able to control Kiryu for a while. It kinda is the final battle
Yakuza 7 ones was also extremely good. No drops, just a constant melody of overwhelming dread. Perfectly for an opponent you shouldn't take lightly at all
"Good bye Kiryu,This is final time we're gonna look awesome when fighting." "What?" "Didn't RGG told you? They won't making Kiwami remake anymore of main games! Next games is remastered! You are going back to ur old engine self!" "You gotta be kidding...." "No,I am not!" "..." "But you have an happy life :)" "Okay,I will take an entire stock!"
This may not be the last time we fight an Amon, but it might be the last time Kiryu, and by extension us, battles against Jo Amon... Considering we haven't seen him since (canonically) this game or his appearance in Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, this might be the end for Jo Amon...
I always thought the common thug enemy "Men in Black" were Amon Clan because they wore, well black clothing and most of them had aviator sunglasses on their face.
@@egotistikz So and Jo must've really got around a lot then lol. I could totally see the boss Man in Black from (Kiwami) 2 being an Amon though since he's super strong and survived getting run over a highspeed truck.
While yakuza 6's Amon's fight is the "last" time Kiryu fight him in the Yakuza timeline, this fight in Kiwami 2 is the final time we, the player will ever fight Amon in Yakuza franchise and this theme shows
This game was the first time I was actually motivated to beat the Amon Clan. Almost did it in Judgment but the endgame EXP grind proved to be too much. But this time vengeance was mine, all to this glorious track. This song really is brilliant.
nah, they work where they are. 6's amon theme is distorted to show how jo is losing himself in his obsession with beating kiryu, while this theme is the somewhat somber and reflective while still being intense as it's the last time we'll ever fight jo as kiryu.
Considering this seemed like the last time Kiryu would ever fight Jo Amon in the series this song sounds a lot more sombre, as if to signal that we must be hit in the feels
This was the start of when Amon was losing the last bits of his sanity over his obsession over defeating kiryu, I have a small theory that eggashira is an Amon, and he’s still training to this day, somewhere, ready to avenge Jo,So, and put the Amon clan back on top, kiryu will sacrifice himself to save ichiban, and tell him about kiryu’s secret technique library he’s hidden, his final words being “don’t try to be me, don’t do down my path to be better than me, go your own way, that is the key… to being a dragon” thus kiryu hands it over to ichiban, this could be an amazing game
That sounds like cancer, also the Amon storylines have thankfully never played a role in the main plot of the game, he is a side story secret boss. Jo is also on Kiryu’s side now.
1.25x speed is just too fast, but it’s almost too slow at normal speed. I wish there was a 1.10 or 1.15 option. On another note, this is the same key as Rundas from Metroid Prime 3. Imagine this playing when you’re fighting him.
@@garysmithfan1432 Nah bruh you didn't get the point. the reason why Shin's theme are way less dramatic and Emotional because this is the first time Shin and Ichiban meet and fight. So both of them didn't have any sense of emotional or mutual respect yet. and to be honest Shin's theme in Yakuza 7 is not really that bad. Is cleary not the best but still fucking slap and give the player haunting feeling tho
@@jovif.spemudaindonesia1841 if of course get it why its so quiet and the amon lines are so quiet and haunting he hasn't shown his true self yet how threathening he can be to the player im sure after a few more games with him his song will start twisting more and more like jo amons
I just melted half his health with the Dragon SP and then just used every weapon Heat Action I had. By the time I had to resort to fisticuffs he was on his last life bar.
Yes, they confirmed as far back as when the game came out they aren't remaking 3-5 (despite 3 kind of needing it, Kenzan's reused enemy AI is a nightmare to deal with in fistfights)
