I don't know why, but I have only just realized that you don't hear car horns in Seoul. Perhaps they are like England and use them for their proper purpose, to warn others of danger. Here in the States they use them for "GET OUT OF MY WAY" 😂 Just as I stop typing a woman almost gets run over at 4:46 !! I am looking for World Cup merchandise in the market but I have not seen any so far. One thing that I love about big cities is fans from various countries congregating at certain bars to watch their country play. One time I went to watch England versus Turkey and the English bars were full, so we walked to the Turkey area of Manhattan and about 20 of us sat in a bar with around 200 fans from Turkey, it was a wonderful experience. Do you know if something similar happens in Korea?
Even in Korea, you can see cases where the horn sounds when the car in front is a little late or when the crossing signal blinks blue.😆 The country where you can't really hear car horns on the road seems to be Japan. The opening day of the World Cup is just around the corner.😀 Maybe in Korea, you can see football fans cheering for their country play in places like Itaewon and Hongdae bars, where there are many foreigners.
