Then, one day she decided to go there with no money, no prospects, and no plans about how she is going to earn money or stay in the country for a longer period of time. It also seemed that she did not do any research about Korean society and culture prior to moving because she was surprised at how many Asians were in Korea (lol) and complained that some of them were rude and racist to her. Unsurprisingly, she opened a fundraiser to help sustain her lifestyle in Seoul, a very expensive city, so the fact that nowadays she has no money is completely her responsibility. Many brands still stayed in Russia and I am pretty sure she would've been able to find other collaborations in Russia, maybe starting from native Russian brands. However, she did not make a single attempt to go out and find a job. About her "activist" anti-war position, even after leaving Russia she still stayed silent and did not seem to help anyone (neither Ukrainians nor Russians who do not enjoy the same privileges as Semmi to be able to escape Russia). Do not pity her and do not donate her money! Steer clear of doing any business with her. The fact that BBC Korea invited her without double-checking her history and equated her (very privileged) struggles with the struggles of Ukrainian people whose actual lives are in danger speaks volumes about BBC Korea's unprofessionalism.
