For lovely folks all over the world :) RabidAnce is a K-crossover vocal group, bringing together singers - John Noh(Tenor), Paul Kim(Bass), Yeong-Yeol Ko(Sorikkun), and Gun-Ha Hwang(Musical actor) across various musical backgrounds. [*소리꾼(Sorikkun) is a singer of traditional Korean music, 판소리(Pansori)] As the group's name 'RabidAnce', a compound word made of 'Rabid' and 'Guidance', clearly shows, RabidAnce never hesitates to challenge to something new and different. Indeed, throughout the whole competition called 'Phantom Singer 3' in which the group was created, RabidAnce succeeded in guiding all the audience to fascinating songs around the world, including 'Ti Pathos', 'Millim Yaffot Me'Eleh', 'He lives in you' etc. Now, they just released their first mini-album, called 'PRISM', which represents their diverse colours of music :) I hope you can find four distinct but brilliantly harmonious voices/styles coming through 'Never gonna give you up' which is one of the mega-hit songs across the world! If you're interested in their music, I strongly recommend you to listen to '몽금포타령Monggeumpo Taryeong', which they beautifully combine the characteristics of traditional Korean music with Western classical music.
When I first heard this song, I could have sworn that I was listening to Rick Astley who sang the originally. These guys did amazing job with great harmony.
